The texture's really only dull so it can look better in the shading engine- same can be said with a lot of characters. I dunno this looks pretty bright to me True, maybe I should get out of final destination a bit more . Nice stage choice by the way

I don't know, I actually disagree with this, man. Brawl is full of color, just look at Lucas or Dedede. Mario is a bit dull, sure, but he's about it.
Also, if it makes an accurate model, I think you should use game art for reference. :p
Link, Zelda, Ike, Snake. Can't forget those! Inb4Kirby.

Looks like I have my next project in line, the only issue is that the polygons are as rigid as hell. Now if I only knew how to fix the rigidness.....

I make YouTube videos, SM64 hacks, Brawl Hacks (obviously), NSMBW hacks, and GoldenEye 007 Mods. I also have a short attention span and tend to switch around a lot and put things on hold. But when I do finish things, 95% of the time I gave 120% effort, the other 5% of the time I give 100% effort.

Bollocks, none of the modifier can weld it or smooth it. I think the UV mapping and/or normals are jacked up, just send a PM to StupidMarioFan1. I don't know anything about texturing.
I have the DL link to anyone who's willing to look at the issue for me (PM me).
Ah crap, looks like everyone's offline. Bollocks to the extreme.

that looks more like you have to attach elements together, check out which use the same textures, attach those, and then use the vertex weld

How? I don't know jack squat about that. Guess I'm SOL. It's only one file as the texture. The model uses only one jpg.

ok, the try the following: first, check if all the objects have no modifiers, to do a quick fix for this just select all, add a edit mesh, and right click on it to select collapse all.
now select just one object, right click, and click on attach, now you just have to click on every single object that's there, to make it all one element, after that's done, apply the texture to see if theUVs are messed up or not, if they're fine, add a vertex weld modifier and set it to 0,01, if not smooth yet, add a smooth modifier and click on 1.
hope that helps

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't the script "Detach by ID" do the same thing after selecting all the objects? I did that but to no avail, I need someone to look at this since I suck at texturing, UV mapping, etc.

Iwvi is looking at the model for me as we speak and will figure out why it looks so bizarre.
