EDIT 2: Yeah, all BJ Did for that was desaturate and add Noise in photoshop. It can be done.
No... adding noise would look like garbage.  I converted to b&w, modified the brightness, saturation and contrast, and overlayed a leather texture ontop of each seperate part. I had to repeat it for the larger parts of the texture, so you can see some seams in places.

I gave up >:| I will never depend on anyone to rig anything again so I'll learn how to myself (and take ages doing so  ) so then I can finally rig my Link Redesign, Ganondorf redesign, redo vaati and rig him and also this: Untooned Toon Zelda WIP

Domit since Spec Maps seem to be the new thing for imports, I guess I'll have to update SMG Bowser with his Spec Maps from the Galaxy games, that's going to take a longass time to do.

I make YouTube videos, SM64 hacks, Brawl Hacks (obviously), NSMBW hacks, and GoldenEye 007 Mods. I also have a short attention span and tend to switch around a lot and put things on hold. But when I do finish things, 95% of the time I gave 120% effort, the other 5% of the time I give 100% effort.

Thoughts? Not don't of course, but almost. I can incorporate it to Captain Falcons Shader and test in game, u may or may not get wat ur looking for but the shader will work like beyond said sometimes shaders require a specific "spec style(color-wise)" we may have to go back and add contrast or darkness or edit the black and whites to get it working... Anyway I was thinking about doing the same for Battletoads when im finished with the rig, and your spec textures look good so idk if ur interested in giving it a shot<.< i downloaded a bunch of Hd reptile skin texture packs and if ur interested u can check those out too... If not i guess i can do it myself im dying to play with dem reptile skin textures ive got

Left: from Pokemon Channel Right: My custom model, fit for Yoshi's skeleton The head came from Squirtle, but I made all the other parts myself!  He needs to be a bit fatter, but this is as good as I can get him without bone edits.

Ever wonder what Ganondorf might've looked like Skyward Sword styled? So did I...  -Editing Demise's model down to more manageable proportions and such. -The armor is from FE's Black Knight.
