Redoing a classic hack of mine (the last iteration being released in late 2012) Going all out on this rig, fixed up the weird polygonal issues using some vertex welding, symmetry, mirror mode and just making it the best darned version I can! Only problem? Look at the hair, as you can see closely, there's a grey opaque "blockiness" around the hair when the edges should be transparent, much like how it shows up in Bawl Box This is how it SHOULD look, but in the actual game, this is not the case, it looks as it does in 3DS Max, so that's gonna be fun to figure out. If I can resolve that, it'll be the best version I ever made Tried CMBR, RGBA53 CI18, various encoding formats, nothing, RGBA53 (or whatever) yields the best results.

RGB8? No, I haven't tried that one, I believe, but I'll do so right away. I know A refers to alpha or transparency. I don't get why it would show up fine in Brawl Box, but not Brawl itself, it looked just as it did in 3DS Max. Methinks I'd have to create a new material (same one used for Zero Suit Samus' hair material and shader6). This is something I wish to solve once and for all. I'll let you know Edit: Nope, still the same. Gonna have to find out how to make a proper transparency for the hair, this is really baffling.

Ah, the actual transparency is what you need to figure out how to do, I thought the textures were just just messing up some, lol, here's a post that has how to fix the transparency http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=67159

Thanks for the link!

Yeah, no problem I'll be darned, CMBR plus that transparency trick worked in Brawl, awesome! Wonder if it'll work with RGB5A3 or A3 or whatever the other RGB formats are. Excellent!

yep, I know it works with RGB5A3, I have not tried it with A3, but I assume that it does.

Okay, ran the test, works just fine! Looks a LOT better in my opinion One more test to run, but it's looking good so far, will post a pic momentarily.

Fixed transparency, ah yeah! I wouldve chosen sheik for that, but good work! the rig looks pretty neat (because peach's shoulders are a pain) I am done with my import too
