Anyone know where his cape is supposed to rig? Every time I rig the cape to BackJa, Jb, etc, it looks funky in Brawl Box (i.e. too short). WTF? I really want this rig to be the best it could be, but if this is happening....Hoo boy. I would REALLY appreciated it if someone could take a look at it. Post Merge: August 11, 2012, 04:53:30 PM
Update: Made changes to torso vertices to better fit his legs. Now they should be a lot easier to fix up and animate! Oh, and the cape? I'll need advice for rigging that since it refuses to show up properly in Brawl Box.

What do you mean, it shows up screwed up in BB? You mean the cape only having textures on one side like the other preview?
Other than that, looks pretty dang amazing, man. :3

Heheh, thanks! The cape looks normal in 3DS max, but when I rig it to his jacket bones, it halves in size in Brawl Box on all animations. As for extending his torso, I can't quite seem to figure out how to "trick" the program into thinking that the cutoff (where the torso ends) is where the legs begin, because the leg vertices will still be "there" even if they're hidden in the newly extended torso.

It's like a bazooka gun barrel thing... I believe it was taken from the original vertex over D3. EDIT: Musket, bazooka gun barrel thing. Same difference. :V

His musket from Donkey Kong Country 2 It's like a bazooka gun barrel thing... I believe it was taken from the original vertex over D3. Yep, that's the one. Now, the trouble I'm having right now is the actual rigging itself, because his legs are "shorter" (part of it is actually in his torso), and his leg bones are way up there, so rigging is going to be a real PITA. Suggestions? Here's his screwed up cape
