I can get a few models directly from the game. It saved me some time making the map

That's what I think would work best. I would need someone to import it since i have no idea how to work with stages.

Modeling is mostly friggin easy I find. It's the UV mapping that's a [censored]...

That's not a bad idea, though I was thinking of having it as a scrolling level like the pirate ship if possible.

Since everything is lowpoly I can have the level decently sized.
Sounds good. I could probably also add some cows, (i think that's what they are?) grazing everywhere like the game.

I think i'm happy with this map. I was thinking it would loop in the middle of the forest, maybe passing the forest temple(if that's what it is).

Nothing impressive, I know, but that's why I chose it as a starting place for me.  Before this I'd never worked with a 3D modeling program or imported any model into Brawl.
