Actually... I THINK Aaf was planning on either Lickitung rolling up into a ball... Or making it's egg a rock. For the move Rollout.

Make Likitung's egg either a giant rock or himself balled up. One of Lickitung's defining features is the move Roll-out, since he becomes Lickilicky when he knows it. Roll-out is usually shown with a giant rock.
He definitely needs to be fatter though. Shorter neck, stubbier limbs.

It looks pretty good, but if it's not much trouble I have a feeling it would look even better if the scales were smaller (maybe about half the size?). I would suggest to add a shine to his metal parts like his gauntlets and belt but I don't know if that would be too much with the shine he already has on his skin.
Either way, the rig looks amazing, great job!

The reason he looks the way he does is because he has to fit on Yoshi's skeleton. All of that stuff can be fixed with bone edits I'd imagine so whoever wants to pick up rigging him can make all those adjustments if they want to.

nah it aint a probe to multiply the scales And ur metal textures are awesome about adding the reflective shader to the metal accessories idk but ur probably right it may be too much, and im not talking about the file size that shouldnt be a problem... i can do it and get it working thoughlove you both no homo both. looks great! like the glittery effect thanx

aafyre i still say you need to make lickytong belly much bigger for almost touching the floor and connectiong directly to the head since licky has pratically no neck that wouldnt affect the rigg at all
putting charizard rock over the egg would work preety well

I like this idea much better. In the end, the graphics on Pokemon Stadium and such, they turn into rock when doing the move Rollout, so talk about perfect fitting.

And ur metal textures are awesome
Actually, when I sent DemonBoy my battletoad model for him to texture map, that's just the way he sent it back to me. I barely did anything to his metal textures. And while a Pokeball would be cool, the current plan for Lickitung is for him to curl up into a ball with his tongue wrapped around him like a tire. There are a few reasons for this. First, is that it would be a good representation of Rollout, I think. The second is that "Lickitung isn't Lickitung without his tongue." I figure that between his neutral B, forward B, guarding and rolling, we'll be seeing enough of him with his tongue where this won't be as big of an issue.

I can rig Licky. After I rig him, I know how to make him fatter without bone edits.
Did you put a tounge model in his mouth?

This is a family topic! Anyways, that would be great if you want to rig him! For his tongue, I took the real Lickitung's tongue, rotated it, and shrunk it in one dimension to fit in his mouth. It should even be using the same texture.

Perfect. That's how I'll need it when it comes time to rig.
I'll be home Wednesday. So you can send him to me, then I'll send you Goombella
