I've remade some parts of the stage such as the pad for the chopper and buildings on the background. I've started giving textures to the museum (the left building). I think I will release today the stage, with or without having the right textures for it done. Not sure though.

Cool but i ment in the 2nd vid. the ground and buildings started flashing and whatnot.
Sweet fourside might be out today Mewtwo u might want say that on your topic name.

The flashing is... well, good and bad...

I've edited the ligths so they use a different file from the one in the video, and there's no flashing now. But the flashing file is still in the stage pac, I'll tell you how to enable it if you need to. It's only renaming a little thing with brawlbox.

I definitely think I'm going to upload the first beta of fourside today

I don't know what to do with it, if releasing it or not, because of the background file being too spiky... ^^U

yeah i tried a retro revamp of hyrule castle in 3D by porting the blocks from the stage builder...

needless to say, i failed... :(  brawl whined at me and i cringed.. im not even gonna bother because i did so much work and the end result got me only so far...

not to mention it didnt even work afterwards, EPIC FAIL! :D

so but yes, this is going to be GREAT! i cant wait for fourside! oh and just out of curiosity, what was wrong with my lava? it seems like you fixed it in like 12 seconds or something!

speaking of which, you seem to have a lot on your plate! finishing up every stage that youve made as well as helping others with their stages, seems like a hassle! XD

You were not animating the lava, that's the point.

About hyrule castle, it was one of my first ideas when I started fourside, but Kurobit has the project (It was pretty advanced the last time I saw it) so I can't make it anymore. I'll be making the other n64 stages I said, congo64, peach64 and final64. And I wanted to resize Chuy's oversized dreamland64 2D, and 3D-ize nikopunksupeermaario's Great Bay

About Fourside, I will release it later today. I'm including this alternate moon, I think someone requested a shining moon, just like in the first background I used

Anyway about the dreamland thing yeah i know i oversized it not my fault didn't know how to resize it back then i'll probably fix and maybe work on a 3-d version of it as well

If I manage to make it before you do, I'll resize your stage for you, so I can try to make a little fix to the textures to make them smoother, chuy ;)

EDIT:

The file I'm making for the beta release will work as wifi room, final destination, battlefield, newpork and onett, with no rel files needed. It will probably work as more stages, but I've made it for these ones.

Anyway, there are issues with newpork and onett

Onett: There's a strange teleport in the right side of the monotoli building, caused by an onett related collision, probably related with the cars. Moving up the stage could solve this, but there's no time for this now, and I think it's not necessary anyway because of the other options

Newpork: Perfectly playable, it gets dark due to the chimera in newpork, it doesn't appear, but there's still a dark lightin. There's an invisible object which is able to be hit some times, but it isn't annoying for gameplay.

Anyway, use the stage as one of these only if you like them enough. If you don't like newpork, then just use a FD rel file to make it work with no issues on it. Same to Onett.

You can use it as a stgcustom too (wifi room), or even as a battlefield. I don't think anyone is getting Fourside over battlefield, but the option for making it exists.

I fix some minor things like the main antenna (which is black right now) and I release it.

I think I will release it between 3.00 and 4.00. More like 4.00 than 3.00 I guess xD

It could be over 4.00, but it will be before 5.00 for sure
