In the skin modifier, click "envelope." You should have the vertices box checked below. Scroll down from there and you'll see a wrench. That's how you weigh vertices.

If you do MM. Moveset can't be based off of MVC1/2. Why? Cause he sucked in MVC2. They gave him 3 moves that were from the Classic games. All 3 of them from MM8, which was pretty good, but not as good as the others (Mainly Voices)
Please Custom make the moveset or get permission from someone else and use theirs. Sorry if i sound pushy and mean but who doesn't think that he sucked in MVC.

I love and main Megaman in MVC and MVC2...He was so-so, not that good, definitely far from the worst, but still not the best choice in most important scenarios, so he was very overlooked. His Tatsunoko Vs Capcom version has been the best so far, but yeah, I agree, Hope the moveset is not inspired by the MVC one, at least not heavily.

so you guys are judging megaman from mvc2...based on.....the game......that makes no sense considering the moveset will be put to the test in brawl..how do you know it wont be good @everyone new poll..... *feeling disapointed and frustarted*

Yeah, there's way too many good ideas that should get more exposition instead of recycling the very same so-so moveset that's been known and uneffective for more than 10 years.

Don't be so close-minded. - -'
In a traditional fighting game? Yeah, MVC Megaman doesn't work.
In Smash? Please, it's absolutely perfect. No reason it wouldn't work, especially with a bit of tweaking here and there.
Don't be so scared and whiny just because of how something was 10 years ago. It can be made better.
Heck, maybe it should be based off the Megaman made by ChAoTiC for Mugen, which basically took the MVC Megaman, fixed it up a bit and kinda changed the way the specials were.
In the end, it's up to him.

^This. It's stupid to base the range of moveset possibilities based on how a character performed in a game they starred in. Mega Man is a perfect example. Hell, if we wanted to, we could make a moveset that is nothing but weapons. To give an example and give fuel for possible move idea, lookit this... http://fc05.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2011/024/a/6/classic_megaman__s_mvc3_moveset_by_availation-d322x4c.jpgWe could use this to come up with a moveset.

That's an awesome moveset. Why the hell didn't Capcom use this for MvC3?
Anyways, back on topic thanks to Megaman being over Pit, there's a good amount of potential in the moveset. Pit only has one projectile (actually, 1.5 really, since when he aims his arrow upwards it has floating points), a number of model changes for his blades, bow and shield and 10 graphic models in his FitPit.pac. He'd be a good base for Megaman. Shame though we'd never really be able to bring out the full potential of a Megaman moveset due to Brawl's limitations.
But as far as suggestions go, MvC2 moveset is far too limited and would end up being rather boring for Megaman. The above moveset and the Super Smash Flash 2 v0.8a moveset would be much more interesting.

i like that moveset lol but i dont think all those moves could in reality be made due to limitations of brawl so if we could come up with a moveset based off of that but with the limitations of brawl in mind then we'd have somthing

Why don't you base something off of Eternal Yoshi's Megaman moveset?

Speaking of which, I want to use a better detailed version of that model but over Ness. Animations must be redone due to me not needing to scale stuff anymore though. My moveset was my own twist on the SSBC/MVC moveset with tweaks. Shame though we'd never really be able to bring out the full potential of a Megaman moveset due to Brawl's limitations. Tell me about it.
