Okay, I've been lurking around and stuff, but this is too weird to not comment on. Like, this really shouldn't be all that complicated, right?

Look, if person B takes something from person A (without permission) that person A doesn't want on the vault, then passes it to person C who makes an edit and uploads it, isn't the obvious reaction for person A to tell off person B and tell person C to take down the stolen edit?

Heck, if person B takes something unreleased from person A without permission, makes an edit, and then uploads it even with proper collab and credit, isn't the obvious reaction still for person A to request the removal of the unsolicited edit? "Dude you stole this and uploaded it, why would you ever think I'd be cool with this?"

I mean, it's even in the rules: "Minor edits to others' work are allowed to an extent. For example, if you create a night/rain/snow version of someone's stage or change a character's shirt from green to blue and want to post it on the Vault, you have to collaborate the creator of the original hack." Except in this case all the individual members who are being collabed for the edit literally don't want it on the vault. This applies to every hack, not just PM stuff.

You're telling me you'd have to let it get uploaded to the vault before it can get removed because you're making an exception in the rules for SPECIFICALLY PM stolen content?

Guys, this is literally common courtesy. It's not even in contention whether or not the art is stolen. It IS. It's also not in contention whether any of the individual original creators want the stuff out in the wild. They don't. None of them. I don't. I created a good deal of it myself.

You guys seem to forget that the Vault consists of Resources for Brawl Modding. Whoever uploads the leaked files would gain nothing for submitting them to the Vault. Based on this, I honestly don't see the harm.

What does this mean? (And I ask you to read this without any sarcasm, I truly don't understand.)

When did the Vault only become a "resource for Brawl Modding?" Two, what makes the uploader's opinion more important than the creator's?

It doesn't hurt them, but it hurts me, specifically. I'm not as dramatic as Halo, so I'm not gonna storm out the door. But this hurts.

I'm not even mad, just incredibly disappointed. These past few months have been nothing but disappointment.

I would actually recommend against using Boolean. It "gets the job done," but once you start rigging it you'll witness how much of a mess Boolean operations really make. Once you start rigging it, it's a pain.

I'd recommend grouping them into the same object and then using the "create face" function. You can find that in the "Editable Mesh" tab under the "Edit Geometry" dropdown. (You'll have to have faces/objects selection option activated instead of edges or vertices.) There's also a version of this for editable poly modifiers, though I can't remember it off the top of my head.

Next time, you might want to build them connected beforehand. It's a tad easier. You can do this by either normal extrusion or by cloning edges (by selecting edges, holding shift, and then dragging. It's like extrusion, except the polygon you create doesn't have a closed end like extrusion does.)

Feel free to ask any questions.

Wow! This is super cool, Peardian. I look forward to seeing what I can do with it!

I see that your HipN seems to be a bit low. The legs are starting to bend directly in the center of Waluigi's thighs. I'd recommend either lifting the HipN or lowering Waluigi's hip vertices so that his legs make anatomical sense and begin bending from the correct location.

Well, you can definitely import from both, but transferring between the two might be a little bit of a pain.

I personally use Max for modeling so I can't help you quite as much, but I CAN say that Maya is definitely the best for animation.

Try to even out his arms so that they're completely horizontal instead of lowered like they are right now.

All Brawl models come in a very strict "T-Pose" so rotating the bones to match your model before you rig it is a real pain. Doing this will save you a lot of trouble.

Is it just me or does his mouth look really weird?

*Note* Taken at the same time as the other, so h's not rigged over Sonic yet.

Well, if you got that model from the Gamecube section of the Model's resource, it's the one that I ripped and gave to the uploader. At the time I wasn't as experienced, and as such the mouth is fused shut, lol.

If that's one you ripped yourself, I have no idea what's up.

You're not really going to be able to see these in game so I wanna share Finn's range of emotions courtesy of SJS.

Oooh, that's so cool. What character is he over?

Randomizer, would you be opposed to me attempting to rig a version of it over someone actually manly later, then?

Ayla's definitely one of my favorite characters simply 'cos she's so "Hulk brute force tough." Like, the idea of her throwing a slap makes me laugh, haha.

Feel free to say no, but I'd sure enjoy it.

Is she going over someone manly, like Ike or Falcon?

So... What you're saying is... We might be able to generate bosses on regular stages?

Please.

Do any of the normal enemies crash upon kill?
