Yeah I have to say the eyebrows rub me the wrong way as well.
Maybe it's because you never actually see if Dedede HAS eyebrows? I dunno.
Suppose it's better than sticking his eyes to the constant anger expression.
Well, he DOES technically have eyebrows in that mini game. But something seems... off about them here. But I REALLY can't place my finger on what it is....
The other thing is the graphics on his back don't feel like they are part of this coat. They feel like stickers that have been applied to me.
Yeah, I mean it could be that the pictures aren't doing the alt favors. But it does seem like the patterns are just slapped on... they remind me of stickers in Soul Calibur 5 honestly.
Also... I feel like the eyebrows are a bit off. But I don't know how much can really be done about that.
Oh I don't know, maybe the breastplate looking different? The Shoulder armor? The arms in general? No neck armor? The boots looking different? No no no, there's NO differences here. None what so ever.
But that Vivian is mostly my work. With a few little alterations made.... Yet I, and the other people who's mods I used as a base don't get any sort of credit/recognition?
I feel you need to do some research then... because I'm sure I'm not the only one who went uncredited.
To elaborate a bit more on why hit box changes are bad for P:M... or heck, even normal Brawl to competitive players....
Lets say you're playing P:M, with a Marth mod, but this mod makes him much smaller.... You try to use a normal combo, just out space the foe, you have to get closer to the foe then normal to land it, unlike the original. Or, the combo might wiff at a point it normally shouldn't.
The opposite can also be true. A bigger Marth mod could do combos he normally shouldn't, plus would be at an advantage in a Marth ditto match, since one player has more range then the other.... However, the hurt box is also bigger, thus you might get comboed longer then normal as well.
And no, this doesn't just effect P:M, it effects vBrawl as well, I just used P:M as an example, since there's more combos in it.
So yeah, people caring about Wifi safeness isn't why they don't like bone edits. It's because it completely messes with the character's moves, and even how they can be hit.
fixed the comment :v I think I added a wifi safe version of dio though
Okay, then alter your BV entries. If you KNOW they're Wifi unsafe, then mark them as such. Because some people don't like Wifi unsafe mods, even if they don't play on Wifi. Such as P:M players. They might not want hit boxes that don't match the original bone set. It messes with what should, and shouldn't work combo wise.
well, I already made a thread on the model help board, but I know people barely visits that board so I prefered to ask the help here too; can someone help me to get this model on 3ds max?
and this post wasnt against the rules: here have a preview:
YOU THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A TOUHOU CHARACTER BUT IT WAS HIM, DIO!
who should I make this character over? I cant decide between sheik and ganon
Maybe Sheik? Since that would let Dio throw knives... kinda. Well technically they're needles.... But you get the idea.
