    Hmm.... great reference videos! They helped out a lot!

    I've started to take a few liberties of my own and here's what I've come up with:

    Fsmash: jumping hit at 2:54 (I think that's the same animation as the Froststrike hit you showed me, so we're the same there.)

    Animation: Ike's ledge attack, <100%

    Jab: three hits at 4:15

    Animations: Pit's third jab, Marth's counter hit, Marth's forward side-B finsher

    Up Smash: Launch (Lightning does an uppercut, and automatically springs upward for you to continue a combo.)

    Animation: Marth's side-B second upward hit

    I also made a roll, but instead of one back flip, it's like a handspring to back flip, based on Falco's back roll, because I couldn't find a good base animation that was only one flip.

    Also, the new waiting animation is completed, based on ZSS's Win1Wait, edited to make it more like Lightning's.

    I agree with your down B idea, but the side B sounds like we could do a lot more with it...

    For one thing, it could be Army of One, with Marth side-B style inputs. That seems kinda...  linear and it'd be hard to find different attacks for different directions...

    I know the moves are on the OP, but I need to find videos so I can accurately animate them (for example, Army of One doesn't resemble Link's Up Smash very much...) , and I'm very sorry for making you find all these videos for me, and for that, I have to give you a big thanks. But sorry.

    Also, note to everyone thinking of animations for moves, but Link and Toon Link are left-handed. This means that someone like Ike will be swinging an invisible sword and it just isn't right. Also, Marth is a little diva and likes to have his back face the screen. This means that using animations from Marth will make it so at the end, you'll turn around suddenly and it'll look weird and not very smooth.

    (Don't worry, though, I took a lot of time to make sure everything flows smoothly into the next move.)

    EDIT: I forgot, I also did the move where she spins around and there's a ring of smoke... was it called Blitz?

    Animation: Ike's Trophy Stand forward throw animation (Link's up B wouldn't work, he was spinning around swinging nothing.)

    EDIT 2: I forgot that the forward tilt is the attack that she does before entering a battle.

    Animation: Marth's counter hit

    EDIT 3: Actually... I'm changing a bunch of things now...

    But what color do you think the sword glow / trace should be?

    Because we have a texture for Ike from the actual game. It's Lightning's actual model. So it will really be like you're playing Lightning. THAT's why.

    Side B: 1:25 - 1:31

    This move should be something like Marth's Side B, where he has a chain of attacks each time you enter a new command. It should be as technical, only 4 Side B Inputs. On the last hit, she should jump backwards and shoot. We could call this "Ravage".

    Down B: 2:25 - 2:30

    Spell casting animation. She just throws her arms around as seen in the video. However, when she casts Thundara, she only does it once, because it's per SPELL. So she waves her arm once, and a small lightning storm is conjured.

    Up B: 3:15 - 3:20

    That is Launch. She would spin and slash upwards, then follow them (Sort of like Ike's move) and attack. It should have the automove "Smite" with it, in which she smacks them back down. after that, she'll free fall, but she won't be able to use her Up B again.

    Lightning stabs at the enemy. Pretty simple. Tongue

    Back Roll - 2:05 - 2:07

    That's what she should do for her back roll.

    The one where she hops, "Froststrike" (Although the legit move will be Sparkstike.

    Hope that helps knock some out, I'll get more later.

    No, you can't see the texture, its not mine, but it's like the Mewtwo model - its made by the same person. It's basically flawless. When he releases it you can see it.

    And that's fine that I have to look up the videos, its not a big deal, I promise. I realize that you're doing hard work yourself, with the PSA and all, and I want this to feel like a complete team effort, so I should have to do that anyway. But I'm glad they helped.

    And I see what you mean about Toon Link and Link, I didn't think about these things, sorry.

    Her trace should be pink to match her hair. That'd be perfect. (:

    And I think we should make her Forward Tilt "Blindside", where she directly stabs at the opponent.

    Also, I think it'd be a good idea to post a beta on just this thread maybe weekly or bi-weekly, just so we could get a good idea on how things are going.

    its no where near beta worthy, and far from perfect. but its on hold until vertexweight hacking is possible.

    Whoa... so good... there's no way I would even recognize that as Ike... it's so professional looking, it's like the real Lightning!

    Anyways, I have to apologize to ethanrodgers223 for this, but I made many, many changes to the moveset that is posted on the OP (sorry, I just put in and animated whatever I could find in a video... sorry!)

    So here's the moveset that I made today:

    Jab: three quick slashes, downwards, upwards, and downwards again. Nice GTFO move, I guess.
    4%, 4%, 5%

    Dash Attack (Blindside): Lightning stabs her opponent, sliding forwards. This move hits your opponent horizontally and is good for setting up gimps off the side of the stage.
    5%

    Forward Tilt: Lightning slashes horizontally across her opponent. Think Ike's forward tilt, but without as much lag or power. This move is quicker and weaker. It was supposed to be the slash that Lightning does before entering a battle, and it looks... not too bad.
    8%

    Up Tilt: Lightning does a quick slash upwards, launching her opponent into the air. This can start aerial combos, but is weaker and doesn't end with an automatic jump like Launch, the Up Smash, does.
    4%

    Down Tilt: Lightning flips backwards and fires a shot down at where she was standing. This move is great for escaping, stalling, or when you have the feeling the your opponent will roll and want a safe way to punish.
    2%

    That's what I've completed so far in PSA and animations.

    This is what I have planned for the rest of the moveset:

    Forward Smash (Sparkstrike): Lightning jumps up and slashes her opponent vertically while spinning. This move deals electric damage and hits the opponent upwards more than horizontally and is one of her main kill moves.

    Up Smash (Launch): Lightning slashes her opponent upwards. If the move connects, then Lightning crouches down and leaps after her opponent. The longer you've charged your smash, the higher she will jump to chase her opponent. This move isn't that strong and won't kill very reliably, but sets up for great areial combos and lets you get a lot of air by automating a very high jump. If you miss, though, you'll suffer a lot of lag.

    Down Smash (Blitz): Lightning does a quick circular sweep, hitting both sides of her. This move doesn't deal too much damage or too much knockback, but has a lot of IASA frames at the end, being not only a good GTFO move, but it'll help you catch your opponent off guard, as well.

    Neutral Air: Lightning slashes in front of her and behind her, ZSS's nair style.

    Forward Air: Lightning does an upward slash, hitting her opponent forwards, which can cause quite a few gimps.

    Back Air: Lightning slashes upwards and juggles her opponents above her, but remember that doing this move will reverse your direction.

    Up Air: The bread and butter of her aerial juggling game, this is a move that is not only powerful, but keeps her opponents in the air for a long time, exactly where she wants them to rack up large amounts of damage.

    Down Air: no idea right now!

    Neutral B (Fire, Firaga): Lightning fires a little fire from her hand. Charging this move fully will let her unleash an explosion where the fire lands. Fire moves in a low arc for a while, and can help her camp well in case she's falling behind in a match.

    Forward B (Thundara): Lightning creates a small thunder a distance away from her. This move strikes at a medium distance, not close up and not far away.

    Up B: no idea at all!

    Down B:  maybe healing? I'm not sure right now...

    Anyways, sorry I went and changed everything...

    EDIT: I gotta leave for camp in a few hours, and I won't have access to a computer for 10 days, so I'll upload download links of the moveset PAC and animations for anyone to work on while I'm gone. It hasn't been tested in game ever yet, though, so it could freeze. I've only completed what I've mentioned above.

    Okay, it's not a bad thing that you changed everything. I actually really like the moveset. However, I think maybe It'd be a good idea for all her B moves to be spells. I really like that idea. And, I think they all should be chargeable. Like, Thundara can charge into Thundaga.

    Now, not to be rude, but I've thought about these ideas, and I'd really like if you kept them.

    Dair (Down A in air) should be Smite. This move is a link to Launch in the main game. Lightning uses it when in Commando, and she is attacking her opponent in the air. When the stagger gauge is almost completely gone, Smite is activated (if you have it) and she'll slam the enemy back down, cause major damage. I don't have a video for it, but it looks just like Ike's forward air move.

    Down B - Cure, (Cura) (Curaga) Lightning should put her arm to her chest (think when she summons Odin) and raise it above her head, healing 5% damage. This move should be VERY slow (think "Rest" for Jigglypuff) and should be chargeable. You see, this move would have to have a charge period and then the "casting" period, to make this move somewhat fair. It really isn't fair to be able to heal yourself. But still some characters can through pure luck, and pure luck in timing is what this move calls for. Anyway, if charged for three seconds before hand (is it possible she could glow a certain color when she reaches this point? Like when Sheik has fully charged her needles?), this move would become Cura, and heal 20%. If charged for a complete 5 seconds, and then undergoing the "casting" (once again, think Rest) period, making this around 10 seconds, it would heal 60% damage. I think that's fair. See, I've tried to make it to where casting Cure would be useless, because its only 5%, and they would want to try for Cura or Curaga, but unless they just aerially killed their opponent, even getting Cura would be hard enough. But if they did, they'd be lucky and it'd give such a feeling of accomplishment, you know? Cheesy

    You HAVE to incorporate that somehow, you must. haha.

    Up B: Aero (in air; on ground can be charged into Aerora) In the air, Lightning would ride a wind current VERY quickly (think Fox/Falco's Forward B, but you can direct it) in the direction of her choice. If on the ground, Aero would just be a move that pushes the opponent away and comes out very quickly. If charged for 3 seconds, (can we use Metaknight's B ATTACK animation? Not him spinning around, but the actual tornado?) an air current would conjure and lift the opponent in the air, and smack them back down. Something like that. Ideas are completely open on that one.

    I should be going to get my Wii from my roommates home soon, since I'm moving out. So I'll be test it myself soon, and tell you what I think should be changed/kept/improved. Cheesy

    Well I sent the moveset with everything in that rar file, so you should be good. We still need the Down Aerial and up B/down B, but I have provided ideas a couple posts above.

    do you think you can do the Cure move as down B? Or will that be too much trouble?

    Also, her main jump should be about as high as Zero Suit Samus - in the game, she can jump pretty high.

    Lightning's second jump should Mimic Marth's, I really love Marth's Backflip.
