I'm working on the face paint from MGS3:Subsistance. I've currently textured the following face paint.
-Black -Brown -Green -Splitter -Kabuki -Oyama -Zombie -Soviet Union Flag -Japanese Flan
I also plan on vertexing the Raikov Mask! I'll make it so the mouth never moves. Then it will be the real mask!
I was working on the exact same thing. Perhaps we could pool our efforts and make this go a lot quicker. I've got woodland, splitter, green, black, brown, and zombie right now. Perhaps we can see whose look best? I know my brown sucks, and my splitter's pretty bad too, but my zombie, woodland, black, and green are all excellent. I was also planning on doing the body camos AND eventually doing a vertex for Big Boss exactly like the one you requested so it's all covered! Also, to everybody, if you want to go for something extremely challenging, but extremely useful, here's an idea I had: try vertexing Snake's bandana tail into a sleeveless trenchcoat. I think you see where I'm going with this. The bandana tail is ideal because it will wave in the wind just like an actual trenchcoat would, and also because it's already sort of the right shape once you stretch it a bit. I actually tried fooling around with this already, and it's definitely possible, just difficult and beyond my vertexing skills at the moment. But you'll be everybody's hero if you can get the trenchcoat in! If you could get a Trenchcoat to work you could make Liquid from MG1 before he threw his trenchcoat off obviously . Lmao thatd be badass. Hell if you somehow Vertex Snake's hair you can make Liquid Ocelot too with sunglasses Taken from the New wesker texture that was recently made Lmao

My Splitter kind of sucks but the rest are great. I'm also working on the Raikov Mask and Infinity Face Paint.
Also, I won't be able to post some of my face paint until next friday.

I'd think so too. Both Vulcan and Ganon almost sound just alike.

I'd think so too. Both Vulcan and Ganon almost sound just alike. Volgin would also be perfect like I said in the OP. And this makes almost no sense, but I might try to do Solidus over Ganon too. If I can conform wrap Ganon's face to snake's it'll be perfect.

Vulcan Raven with that Vulcan Machine gun he runs around the area and shoots at you like there is no tomorrow... aaah Claymores remind me of that fun MGS1 fight. Cool Final Smash would be the M1 Tank. Just do some good work on Fox/Falco/Wolf's Landmaster and it would be pretty cool. Volgin would also be perfect like I said in the OP. And this makes almost no sense, but I might try to do Solidus over Ganon too. If I can conform wrap Ganon's face to snake's it'll be perfect.

I'm working on getting MGS2 raiden to go over Marth but....... I'm stuck on what to do if the model isn't T-stanced like Raiden's. I have the MGS2 models, but none of them are T-stanced.

My advice is to just do a vertex, and not bother with model replacement. You can get almost the exact same effect, it just takes a lot more work... Have you watched mariokart64n's (2 hour...) tutorial on vertexing lucario into mewtwo? In it, he uses conform wrap to mold lucario's brawl model to mewtw's melee one. Your MGS2 models are perfect for that process. Actually, would you mind uploading those somewhere? I was going to do Solidus over Ganondorf, and I really don't want to have to go through the whole process of torrenting a game I already own for PS2 and ripping the models myself... It would be extremely appreciated. Not just for Brawl hacking, but for Gmod and stuff too. Here's an update on the boss (face vertex is done!), plus another little experiment I tried with mariokart64n's Jack Krauser vertex: Also, do we have any good animators in this thread? I refuse to release Beret Snake until Snake has a new taunt where he can salute. Might as well give him one where he smokes while you're at it.

Solidus' definitive model is somewhere in the game files which will take time to locate but i can easily find his textures.

Yeah, it kind of snuck past the radar, but I like it a lot! My one gripe is it's a little too small but it's a cool stage nonetheless. And if you're going to upload solidus, go ahead and upload whatever other models and textures you've already ripped. The Garry's Mod folks have been trying to get good rips of that game forever, so I'll have to post your links on Facepunch.

Might as well give him one where he smokes while you're at it. I was thinking about that. It sounds hard giving him a cig. If you manage too do that, make the little flame from the cig cause some fire damage when it comes in contact with opponents. Like 1-2% damage. Maybe even have him set a porno book on the ground too, and have that be used as a throwable item.

Taunt Ideas: -Salute -Smoking -Lays Porno book on ground and it is a throwable item. I still want him to have the cardboard box, though.

I tried to edit Snakes taunts before... they are a bit different to other characters taunts. When I tried to change them as soon as the animation finished it automatically went to the in-box animation. I'm no PSA expert but thought I'd give a heads up on this incase anyone does try new taunts.

Yea since i believe his is the only taunt that changes his whole body to a smaller size. Frankly my recommendations for taunts are Up: Call on Codec or porn book mentioned earlier (if its possible) Normal: Smoking as well Down: Box But that's to fit Solid Snake more, for Big Boss i agree with all of Terminator's suggestions
