Is there a way to download the base SSBB files included in the first post without spending 10 freaking dollars on a mediapro account?

To get a .pac file from a .pcs (or vice versa), all you need to do is open one of them in Brawlbox, and save it as the other type right? Or is there something else you need to do?

Okay. I downloaded Code Manager and did the loading code thing. I have the Homebrew Channel, Gecko OS, and Homebrew Browser set up.
I'm confused; what do I need to do from this point on in order to hack character designs? What exactly does Gecko OS do? Is there something else I need to download?

Okay, so I'm having an issue where my brawl crashes after my third match. I'm using Gecko codes and using the File Patch code. I thought it was my common5.pac, but its done the same thing without it.
What happens exactly is: Third match ends, return to character select screen, and in about 6 or 7 seconds, the game crashes on me with the traditional obnoxious BEEEEP sound. It has done this consecutively the last four times I've run brawl.
I checked that all my *character*.pac files had no compression, and that all of my .pcs files are compressed in LZ77, but it's still doing this. Anyone know what might be causing this?

Try formatting your SD card. Remember to back up everything first as formatting deletes ALL data on the SD card. This is just one idea, and not guaranteed to work, but try it.

Tried it, didn't help. I narrowed it down to a problem with the fighter folder, so I assume that there's a corrupt texture in there somewhere...though it could be something else, I'm not sure. I'm currently editing a Brawl Iso to use with my USB loader. It seems to be stable so far, but I'm having a bit of trouble with replacing some files. Anyone know of a guide on how to do this?

Another Newb question.
Went to MediaFire to get some original brawl files to work on BrawlBox. I'm getting Common5.pac. Unfortunately I couldn't find it, except for this "Common" File that's there. Is that file the right one and I just need to rename it?

I have a n00b question. I made a ton of CSP's but I don't understand how to use them. I'm using Gecko. I downloaded common5_en.pac. I went to each of the textures I wanted to change, right click, replace, uploaded my image. Saved the common5_en.pac.
So where in my SD card do I place the common5_en.pac? Or am I supposed to do something different after I save my file? I really want to use my CSP's because I have a ton of characters in my Smash Bros game and I can't remember which texture is which character.
I put the common5_en.pac in pf/system and the sc_selcharacter_en.pac file in pf/menu2 but the csps I made still aren't showing.
Please help me out, thank you.
