Hey everyone,
I'm not too good at texture hacking. I'm told I'm beast at art, but my BrawlBox is malfunctioning.
So I was wondering... Would a Blastoise cover-over Gengar be possible?
I'm thinking, Gengar model import/vertex hack.

New PSA, all moves dark-attributed, ofcourse.
MOVES
B-Up: Hypnosis (lasts a bit longer, based on Jigglypuff's Sing)
B-Side: Shadow Punch (With the power of Charizard's Rock Smash, but not Kirby's Hammer)
B-Down: Shadow Sneak (kinda like MetaKnight's B-Down?)
B: Dark Void (stationary attack, but somewhat deadly), or Shadow Ball! (Easily jacked from Lucario.)
A-Up: Jumps up, small burst of darkness
A-Side: Just a Tackle-sort of thing, kinda like Ivysaur's A-Smash(side)
A-Down: Spins around, easily stolen from some character
A: Lick?
Jumps lightly, like Higgly or Kirbs. Moderate knockback.
If possible:
TAUNTS
Taunt: Grrs. Just like, Charizard-style, I suppose.
Side-Taunt: Eyes glow bright red
Down-Taunt: Flings tongue around

I'm sorry, I know I really shouldn't be asking for a texture like this, and I know I can't expect what I'm thinking of. I'm trying to learn right now, but my Vista doesn't work with BBv063d.

there is a Kirby Gengar texture, perhaps I can make a Gengar PSA using Kirby  oh this should have been in the request thread XD |

...I support this idea so much, you've no idea. I am a HUGE Gengar fanatic. It's my favorite character of all, next to Meta Knight (Thank God he made it into Brawl on his own!)
If anybody makes a great and balanced PSA for Gengar, I will be a happy camper 
Also, Dark Void isn't a move Gengar can learn in the actual Pokemon games. Not only that, but it just puts things to sleep, so making it do damage doesn't really make too much sense. Shadow Ball for B, as "boring" as it may be, makes much more sense. Despite the fact Gengar can't learn Dark Void, it would make for a cool Final Smash similar to Peach's, though it should also put GIANT flowers upon their heads for the Nightmare effect. =] Hypnosis should also utilize flowers for a Nightmare effect.

Awesome idea ! Gengar is also one of my favorite pokemons, it would be so great if someone made a hack of him ! Will you import the model or make a vertex hack ?

There's already two vertexed Gengars in the vault. As far as I know, there would only be a moveset being made FOR those two Gengars.

When I upgrade to Windows 7 (which I have been putting off on installing), I'll put my tablet to work, and I can colour/draw the texture. However, I'll need a vertex/model-maker...
Anyone good with model imports or vertex hacking?

It would be better imo if you did it over Wario since he literally has no PSAs. You can use Aafyre's vertex.

Wario has NO PSAs due to his odd bone labeling.
Look at his .pac file in PSA.
Adding anything (GFX AND Hitboxes included) using those IDs WILL Cause the game to freeze.
Trying to use the normal IDs will cause it to be correct in one costume but will be misplaced in the other.
You have to use ID 0 and use the X and Y offsets wisely to move the hitboxes and GFX for snything new.
