i just checked common3 out in brawlbox, and there was another param thing, which only contained one file that isnt readable by brawlbox, probably ull need something from that to make it work...

I'm trying to figure out how to edit Item size and where the info is held. I want to make Snake's grenades (Since they are so oversized) the size of the Deku Nut.
Strangely enough, when I model swapped the Deku Nut with Snake's grenades, the grenade became the Deku Nut size. Check it out on my vault.

ItmXXParam.pac can be opened in OpenSA2. There you can open it in opensa, get the dumps of the actions and subactions, and hex edit them.
You'll see an example in the next release of GSS, where the Grenades' explosions are twice as big and has extra range, and the CBox has a very "special" property.
I also gave Link stronger Aura bombs too.

ItmParam.pac is empty, almost as if it's a template for something....
You need OpenSA2 to edit these item files.

XD Possibly, though the swapping seems to only partially work.
Can confirm this i got bored already can did some swapping of various items all of them had both the original effects and swapped item's effects which was kinda cool

what does that mean? that green shell doesnt glide anymore and it freezes, that freezer glides and doesnt freeze, or a partial function swap?

cool. so the freezer could be cloned... maybe u could try more swapping and eventually make a list of clonable items, and im pretty sure the reason for the ray gun not to work is that its not only his model it also summons the laser... so, maybe the star rod could be replaced for a ray-gun, as its another shooter...

Imagine making the fire cracker launcher shoot out trophies or pokeballs or [censored] xD there are codes that do that but lmao imagine the possiblilities if it were flawlessly doable with just brawlbox and psa X3
Deku nuts that explode into smash balls Mr Saturns that explode like a subspace bomb when hit Star rods that attack like the beam sword AND shoot out the rod shot xD
