Question: Just thought I'd ask.......What do you think of Metroid Other M??
It's good. I didn't have any problems with the story or how Samus was portrayed.
I liked the game but I didn't like the way that Samus was portrayed.
I hated it. They made Samus into a whiny little girl.
I hate other M because Samus showed human emotion. I hate human emotion.

    Thanks I'll ask permission to use that as a base. I just spent about 2 hours patching to remove the wings and refused to fix. I was able to get his fangs/tusks things perfect, so it will work great.

    Ohno it's GameWatching. I was somewhat involved in an incident involving him a while ago. I hope he doesn't hold a grudge. I'll pm him.

    I'll attempt the spoon on kadabra as well.

    With Christmas over now, I should have time to start back working on these soon.

    Expect Kadabra to be released within the next week or so, along with Sableye shortly afterwards.
    I'm bored with the current projects and I'm really wanting to get started on other things. Should I let the poll continue for a while or go on and declare Aggron the winner? No one has voted a week or so, so I assume that all those concerned have already placed their votes.

    Kadabra has been released.






    His head has been moved from Lucario's default position, but his eyes have not. Meaning they are sunk into his head a bit and when viewed from straight on there is a see-through glitchy spot to the side of the eyes where you are actually seeing into his skull. However during gameplay this isn't completely unnoticeable, so I think it will be fine to release it as-is. Whatever Adfro did to set it to only use one head apparently rendered it unusable with AIS. It won't give me a dae no matter how I go about it, so I can't really vertex it further without making the changes on a blank Lucario and moving them one at a time onto the Kadabra model. This would take me a few hours so I don't know if I'll ever get around  to it. I'm satisfied with the current model either way, so it won't matter to me if I never get it fixed.
    The texture is also a bit rough. If anyone wants to touch it up, go ahead and do so and get me the download link so I can update the download and give you credit.

    I'm really wanting to do a project on Wolf...can't really think of anything though. Any suggestions? No anime/Sonic characters preferably.

    That's a fairly good idea. No one has done that yet.

    I'm going to attempt:
    -Volechek http://goldensunwiki.net/Volechek
    -Fully Armored
    -No Armor
    -Shirtless "Werewolf" (Wolfman)
    -Random animal

    With Volechek being the top priority. I would need to make his hat from the scouter, then make a robe from one of his parts. I already started on Volechek. It's going good. The cloak is made from his vest. His legs move through it during most animations, but not by very much. He isn't going to have the under-robe that Volechek has in-game, so I'll have to improvise for what his pants should look like. I just vertexed his boots into werewolf-like legs and have tested that they look fine during animations.

    -

    Sableye will be released in a few days. His forehead is still too tall, so he looks odd. His texture is also still a bit rough. I can't get it to look uniform because of the default lighting effects on certain parts, namely his hair.

    I was going to conclude the poll today, but Kraid is starting to catch up to Aggron, so I'll keep it open for a few more days.  KEEP VOTING.

    Volechek Preview



    The coat is finished. I had to make it wide so his legs wouldn't go through it in every animation. I had to move the coat rim up to cover up some holes in his chest left by moving the outer coat.

    The hat has been made in it's rawest form. I still need to round it out and correct the panels so the texture will work right.

    The arms have been made into sleeves, although they aren't even right now. I need to correct this. In-game Volchek's hands aren't seen because the sleeves of his coat are so long, however I don't want his fingers/wrist going through the huge sleeves during half of his animations, so I'll leave them short like this.

    Shoulder pads have been lowered and made smaller.

    Boots have been made into werewolf-like legs. I need to make a few changes on them, but they are basically finished.

    Still needed:

    *Every head/face needs:
         -Shortened and lowered nose
         -Different facial shape
         - Ears elongated and pointed horizontally out from the bottom of his hat
    *Legs made larger to fit the boots
    *Remove/Change accessories
    *Texture

    ya XD. forgot to add that. I've already done it anyway.

    New preview:



    The basic vertexing work is finished. I just need to go in and finish/correct each piece.
    -The hat looks terrible now that I've applied the texture, so it's going to take a ton of work.
    -Ears need to be straightened.
    -Sleeves need to be straightened out.
    -Might move the back of his head around so it looks like he has "human" hair in the back.
    -Move eyes and nose down. I just changed his face a bit because I wasn't sure whether I was going to use that face or not. Adfro is going to disable the other heads for me as he did for the Kadabra. Hopefully it won't have the glitch this time.
    -Need to finish the texture.

    -NO IDEA how I'm going to make the braided hair coming down the sides of his face. Any suggestions?

    I'm going to go ahead and test Volechek in-game and get a picture or two. Just seeing how the lighting effects mess with what I've got so far.

    Also testing Terry in-game. If it's fine I'll go on and release it at the same time as Sableye. It isn't anything spectacular, it's just a personal project I was wanting to attempt. It didn't work out, but I might as well upload what I have.

    For the braided hair, I suggest finding two things on Wolf's body that he doesn't need that can be moved around via animations,and then do some hexing (or have someone hex them for you) to put them in the right places after you vertex them.

    Can I suggest you doing Sveta after Volechek?...or I could do that myself...just need the right character...I wonder how long it would take me....

    Nevermind, I have Zero to worry about right now.

    I had started a sveta on sheik, but I lost it when I rebooted my computer. Aside from vertexing the face and skirt, it's mostly a texture job. I'll get back onto it at some point after I finish a few of my more recent projects.

    I think I'll try to use more of his sideburn fur for the braids. I used a chunk of it for his helmet's tassel thing and it turned out well. However the braids would probably need to move during animations, so it might end up looking a bit awkward.

    STATUS:

    Still haven't gotten a chance to test them in-game. Been busy with Christmas/New Years and my gifts. One of which is a new laptop, so I can now work on projects while family members have the normal computer. I should be able to get more work done now.

    I've started on a Dr. Stahngun
    Dmitri Allen
    on Snake as well.
      Should turn out fairly well, although his coat will be dramatically shorter than it looks here.
