just wondering how will you make the shield on trown disapear? since you cant just make it 0 since trown is used in grabs and shielding dot know if that would freeze if its recized to nothing
When I get around to testing it in-game, I'll find out about the shield/guarding thing. But my idea is...
that the bone size does not affect the hitbox size. So as long as the bone is in the correct position, the hitbox size is also not effected.
So... that said, even if a shield is rigged to the throwN bone, then as long as the bone is where it needs to be where guarding, then the guarding shield (the default one with the game) should be just fine.
Same thought process applies to grabs and throws. The bone being scaled to zero doesn't mean its not there. The hit box size shouldn't be affected by the texture size.
Of course I could be wrong about all this. >_> If I am... call it a learning experience.

I am home!!!
I have internet!
And I have done stuff!!!
Luffy's Gomu Gomu Gatling is done.
Sanji's Back and Down grabs are done.
Sanji's Run is better looking.
As far as I know... Sanji is only missing 2 more grabs and win/
animations. So expect a beta soon.
Iron Man's run, runbreak, turnrun, turnrunbreak, jumps, falls
And I think thats about it...
On a side note, I am in semi-desperate need of an authentic
functional game cube controller. Nintendo seems to be the only company capable of making actually good quality game cube controllers. Words cannot express the amount of rage I had to deal with due to the increasingly jankyness of my gamestop g-cube controller. It likes to pretend I'm pressing down... randomly during the match. And its not the kind of random where you blow the cord and it stops until you turn the game off or unplug it... no... its the kind of random that you think its fixed, then 5 minutes later in a match you die because your character does down a in the air instead of forward a and you die because of it and potentially lose the match
[/rageface]
Edit: And if anyone is interested in a
good Bowser. Give the Brawl- one a shot. This Bowser (when played by a human) is actually pretty formidable.
