Boygos. Prepare yourself. I have a model rigging review coming your way, and it is not good. Not good at all. You best get the flame retardant suit, and flame shield ready, cause this is going to burn...
Click this. NOW.
Count them Boygos. Count them all: 19 different screenshots of errors and rigging mistakes. If this isn't the final model and it looks better than this. I will delete this post and let this slide. If not then you're in for a hurting.
1- Protip: Solid metal armor does not [censored]ing bend. It should never. Ever. Bend. Yet there are several instances where this occurs in the rigging in several of the images above. This is not okay. This is not acceptable. At all. Beginners makes this mistake. You're not a beginner, you should not be making these mistakes. This is below you.
2- There are several instances where rotating parts of the model results in holes. Namely in heer back, the back of her knees, her foot, her shoulders, and more! This should not be. This is not acceptable. These are mistakes someone who has started rigging just today would make! This is far below your level Boygos, and it's disappointing.
3- A lot of the weighting has not been blended, as can be told by a lot of the images. The arms especially are of note for being rigged horribly. This isn't just lackluster. This is downright frickin' terrible and unsightly!
4- Several places are not rigged: The head and neck, and the fingers notably. Around the wrist is yet another instance of solid metal that SHOULD NOT BEND AT ALL. What in the world are you think?
5- THe rigging on the waist and bust bones are absolutely gut-wrenching, no pun freaking intended. It is terrible. It needs to be redone. This is plain unacceptable.
This rig is beyond terrible: it's horrific, and next to the original Strider Hiryu rig, is one of the worst rigs I have ever seen in some time.
To put this into perspective for you: if you worked for me at a game development studio, and presented this to me as final. I would either send you back to fix the problems with the rigging or outright fire you on the spot.
As someone who has been doing rigs for a good while, you should be better than this. I expect better of you. I don't expect perfection. I expect it to be good. This is not good. This is downright terrible and ugly.

*Velen's rant*
Nice "constructive" criticism you got there. Next time, you can use some less-harsh words But yeah... judging from dem pics, the rig needs work

I got enraged over Strider Hiryu's rig for the same reasons: The rigging was terrible. There were holes everywhere. The hands weren't rigged. The model stretched in ways that is shouldn't. It was a big fat mess, and to be quite frank, so is this Dark Suit Samus rig.
There are even one or two pieces on the model that are not rigged to anything, where they should be rigged.

And a lot of it as those pictures show. It looks like what you would have seen in the early days of Brawl model importing.
Hopefully, Boygos takes this as a reason to improve upon this rig.

Was the rig even suppose to be considered done?
I remember when I fixed the holes in mesh of the shoulders, and the rig was like that still. Boygos said it wasn't finished yet

That's not what I heard. I heard Boygos was ready to release it. If he sent the model file that was given to me by mistake. I apologize in advance, and will promptly delete my post.

Maybe it was the unfinished version?
I know Boygos would release something that unfinished.
And you don't have to delete it, just tone down the harshness

The harshness was pure honesty. Even if I toned it down, that would be mere sugar-coating. I know the criticism is harsh, but I'm harsh because I expect better of riggers on this site.

I was ready to release the version after Nanobuds fixed it. You're critiquing the version with auto-rigged arms, head and a neck. Since that version, the model was touched up, sent to Nanobuds, touched up again, and then tested in-game at my friend's house for any ingame errors, and now is in the process of getting extras and a morph ball, and then release. Did you guys REALLY think I would release her like that? Am I REALLY that bad in general? I'd rather drop the project than not only bring shame upon myself, but my friends Nanobuds and SJS as well by releasing it like that. Maybe I should just quit hacking. I swear, this community gets even more downright rude and nit-picky everyday.
