he looks like Sora and the Ven looks like Roxas. The whole thing is just confusing. Ven's part was the only one I finished in the game and he's like connected to him in a way.

Vanitas was created by Master Xehanort, and when Xehanort created vanitas Xehanort Fractured Ventus' heart

i think the reason why Ventus looks like roxas, is because roxas never existed when ventus was made, but when Sora joins hearts with ventus, Sora becomes Roxas' nobody and roxas starts to exist

Altogether, this means that Sora, Roxas, Ventus, and Vanitas all look alike. Confusing huh...

It's really not confusing Ventus was Xehanort apprentice think of it as force unleashed with Vader nd Starkiller. Ventus was a failed apprentice so Xehanort said F it he's useless I'm just gonna take the darkness out of his heart nd create a dark being and name him Vanitas. Vanitas only looks like sora becuz Ventus nd Sora hearts are connected.

And I think i get it now.

I had very little knowledge of the in-between games like... chain of memories or the card one...

So there were some gaps, but I see now...

Basically every game that has come out after KHII is a prequal.

Square Enix just didn't have all that stuff pieced together when they made Kingdom Hearts 1 originally so they had to back track a lot to attempt to make it make sense...

Cause in that explanation link, it says that Ventas shared his heart with kid Sora... to save him.

Sora... as a kid was his own person, but Ventas shared his heart with him, at some point during that time... which as Ventas got older, bad things happened, which created Vanitas. And that would explain why he looks the same.

So in other words... Sora doesn't look like Vanitas, Vanitas looks like Sora since Sora came first.

And through some strange symbiote type of deal... when Sora became a heartless, it released Roxas who  in other words is also Ventus with no memories... but still Ventus. So Ventus is Roxas basically. So Roxas is both a nobody and not a nobody at the same time.

Meaning that Roxas could have a nobody...

Sora is the one who is going to be used to get the XBlade. With Ventus heart being withs Sora.
So if you played Dream drop in the last boss battle you fight in Sora's station of awaking withs dark version of Ventus Armor. Which means that Sora is going to be use to create the XBlade

sorry this is wrong. Roxas is definitely NOT Ventus. So basically, there was this kid named Ventus. When he died, his heart went into his successor, Sora. And when Sora stabs himself in order to save the worlds, Roxas was born due to Sora having a strong heart. Ventus' heart goes INTO Roxas, causing him to look similar. But he is not the same person. Later, Roxas develops a heart of his own, giving him emotions and thus, having two keyblades. One from his own heart and the other from ventus. And that is why when Roxas returns to Sora, sora realizes that he has the capability to wield dual keyblades as well. And about Vanitas? Everything that heartlessnobody said about being a failed experiment is the truth. I've played every single Kingdom Hearts game, so i know whats up.

Also, Roxas being Ventus, but not remembering his past? That's all lies. They're two completely different people...ughh get ur facts straight. lol im not trying to sound rude, i just want all of u to know whats up when ur playing Kingdom Hearts. (the most confusing game on earth)
