Kinda Off-topic but.
I almost finish the stage, but im not so good at texturing so well have to find out someone who knows a lot about texturing.
As for the jungle, im working on it so it looks like the n64 one (higher poly of course)

If youll like to add something else to the stage let me know Grin
Also im working on the dhd articles too, i hope they work as im expecting.
Also2 yep ill fix the jaw bone. (Those pokemans models are too glitchy :v)

@Seggy from what i understand Action Overrides lets you use the common actions in your file instead of the ones stored in fighter.pac, this allowed KJP to make his solo charizard because it allows you to make a pseudo-transformation PSA with model changers, well this is just an example of what you can do if you have Action Overrides in your character.
in this case pikazz changed the Guard commands in order to change the Guard Effect during KingJigglypuff´s Sing Attack

-Normals, Shader or texture format like russ said

Try to check those 3 options. btw that looks epic.

Btw Moar progress on Balloon Fighter, i gave him some brawl styled textures (he will also have WiiU styled textures) i still need to fix the textures on the top of the helmet.

As far as i know you can only clone certain characters, in the brawlex topic there is a list with all the compatible characters, i think dk isnt compatible so youll have to wait or find a way to make your own plug&play brawlex .rel

alright so i've had issues with my sd card before but this is plain weird to me.
so my modded brawl just starts freaking out on me whenever it loads any more than the menu.
i dont know why this happens but I didnt have access to my card for a few days and while no files are changed, my Fighter/Marth and Fighter/Metaknight files got corrupted which i again have no idea how it happened, so i already tried everything i could to delete them (obviously with no success) and instead decided to make a backup of all working files and replace the corrupted ones in this backup. next i formatted my sd card and put the backup on it but same as before when i selected anyone with a custom psa the wii froze on me.
basically looking for help because this confuses me and i have nothing else to do atm.

(also sorry if its posted in the wrong section(not too good with forums))
well this happened to me tons and tons of times Tongue
ill tell you everything i did to fix it (because each time was something different :´v)

-Do you always pick the same character when it freezes? if you do, theres the problem..
-Maybe its not the fighter files, maybe the gct got corrupted, try to make a new one
-Try with another SD card
-Sometimes the SD lock thing stucks in between locked and unlocked when you insert it on your wii, causing the hacks wont load correctly or freezes at some random point.

-Try using hacked brawl with one mod (could be a single texture,psa,etc) this could tell you wheres the problem, since it could be the lack of .pac files or maybe something got renamed, or maybe its the psa youre using, or if youre making your own hack maybe you´ve exceeded the filesize limit, etc.

-Try using your hacks in riivolution (this fixed all my problems since gecko was the one causing random freezes, also corrupted my music even without hacks Undecided )

Unless that's too big and THATS what's causing the problem.
Nope, try 1024x512 or a low texture size to see if thats the problem but im pretty sure thats not the problem. i saw a couple of hacks using that texture size, but ill recommend lower it mainly because it doesnt look like it has a lot of details(like brawl stylish textures), since its a pokemon game texture. something around 512 or lower should be fine.

-Is the model you tested on both pac/pcs?  Sometimes is that you only edit one of them, so they dont match properly causing some glitches Tongue (happened to me with groudon) especially since bowser needs both pac/pcs in order to work properly.

-Or try to change from CMPR to RGBA3/5/8 (i dont think that will fix it but maybe theres the problem)

I cant think about more solutions, everyones solutions are pretty much all the ones i know, but i think we are forgetting something ....

It just has to be a multiple of 1024, not 1024x256, right?
it could be
1024x256, 1024x512 or 512x256 512x128, 256x128, etc. but im pretty sure thats not the problem.

nobody has made a mod of this "joke" yet, i must release it, luckily for you i dont know how to get project m´s proper permission to use their royFE model , until then he wont be released, but i hope he will be released this Christmas Grin (in case i got their permission)

If you dont like it or if you arent interested in this hack then you shouldnt download it/or look forward to his progress.

@Ashley, im pretty sure theres a normal tutorial on the Tuts sections, that might help fixing your normals issue. btw that peach model looks really good Grin

@Tabuu Well, in that case i dont know how to fix that normal problem, i hope you can fix it

That happened to me tons of times

Try this:
Edit Normals, check Vertices/by Vertex, then select all of them & rotate them in any  random direction,
then Normals-> Check Flip Normals, then Uncheck it, somehow it fixes the problem, if she looks too polygonal, go to smooth or Vertex Weld, if this doesnt work try smooth/Vertex Weld at first.

This method resets the Normals, its something weird i discovered by accident but this fixed each normal problem i had.

His/Its tail is going to be rigged on the cape, with some bone edits.
As well as im planning making his legs also based on Master Beast so he will look more like Master Core & less like Male Alloy, also he will get Master Core (a.k.a sm4sh ball) as his FS eyes.

Im trying to make 2D animations/models for some partners, just to get low filesize as well as more animations, sadly this will work just with a couple of partners.

Thanks, also i think Miku problem might be her Cull or Shading settings, well just in case she looks fine on Brawlbox, otherwise, you should check her normal settings in 3ds Max.

Well....



Here i have a beta state of the stage, of course it needs more work to be done.
I didnt have the time to take better pics cuz i'm busy <.<, but i hope i can finish the entire model before vacations end.
In the Lower-right side of the pic, there is a subspace stage which looks kinda like the reference stage, it just needs more mountains and other stuff.

So... whatdaya think?  I see what you did there ...

I made this stage from 0, i didnt liked how the previous one looked so i tried another method and this is the new result.

Im a little worried about the filesize, i dont know how much polys the stage can handle but in case ill need to optimize it, the box will get textures instead of this model, as well as some other parts.

New helmet model i made from scratch, the previous one was roader´s



Also a look at the bike model, it isnt so noticeable but it has the excitebike logo.
He isnt going to be over captain falcon, since he will have his own moveset


-Balloon Fighter
Needs more work, im trying to give him the expresion which suits him better, i have 2 options atm, I and II, which one should he use?
He isnt going to be over mario, since he will have his own moveset






-Duck Hunt

I need to model his head, as well as make the Duck, im working on him because Sm4sh model is way too low poly.
Im not working on his moveset, just the model.

Paper Mario Partners

-Flurrie


Needs some work but she/he will be optimized just to work with Paper Mario

Needs Recolor(Bandana texture based on StarWaffles bowser Jr )

Has a lot of fixes compared to the previous version, over Ivy

Needs some work but he will be part of my moveset



Master Core (aka Master Brawler)
He is going to be over ike, he will have most of his sm4sh appeareances, Master Beast (Tail), Master Sword Tongue
I modeled the sword and the tail



he also gets Master Giant body (which looks alot like the alloys/wireframe man)
Needs more work since im not fully convinced with the model atm
