Maybe if you're having trouble with a size mod, don't worry about it? I personally think that they're pointless and game-breaking anyway.
I agree to the extent that if he's having trouble, then he may want to forget about it, but size mods aren't pointless.
They can actually cause character vertexes like these to feel more like new character's because once a character's size changes, the way they feel when you play as them changes dramatically and alter gameplay. Young link by Pik is a classic example.
It's still Link, but he feels some how faster and lighter for some reason. Hit box sizes usually shrink when a character has been minimized via a size mod when done correctly.
There is nothing game-breaking about properly done size mods at all. They make the game even more unique and add actual depth to the usually only appearance based vertex. Though I can see where you're coming from and I respect your opinion on size mods, I don't really agree.
