Then look at your preview.  The hair sweeps more over his face and there's more of a parting.  It's hard to describe, so just look

Coincidentally, I happen to be working on a Sheik psa right now....hmm....

Bah! Screw it, I'm sure my psa will go good with Ghirahim, so long as I can get the sword working for her specials. (The OC I'm doing has feminine sheik as a  base.)

The hair parting needs to be brought more to the left in the preview (Sheik's right side), and lengthened and brought to more of a point.

And the cape in the back should be able to stretch to its actual length without animation problems (just occasional clipping). In the front though there'll be lots of clipping unless you pull the end of it forward more. Think about how Sheik stands (slightly hunched wait stance) and fix it accordingly.

Test the vertex with the character's motion file as you work so you know the true limitations of things before you assume something's changed too much.


Also, voted for Ness/Lucas for the Lucas half of it. He has a lot of hair to play with.
