Well, to be fair, it's only one animation to edit. I suppose I'll see what I can do about it. It shouldn't be too tough, I've just been really lazy and unmotivated in terms of animations lately.
That is so damn epic. Finally a decent Metroid stage with no rising lava!
Oh I forgot to mention that I've added lava that'll deal 10000 damage to any player who touches it and kills you instantly

So, after about three hours of work, I finally have the platform done:

Yes it moves, and holy balls I hope you appreciate because it didn't want to go down without a fight. Had to employ every trick I had up my sleeve to get it working.
Something so simple as making collisions follow a platform can be such a pain in the ass... XD
Oy.
Anywho, fixed the shadow glitch I think. Pretty sure it didn't like me editing the STPM, so reverting back seems to have fixed the issue. At least, I have yet to encounter it again, despite my attempts to reproduce it.
I'll get to fixing Ridley's head later on tonight most likely, after I do the homework I had to put off because leaving the platform in an unusable state would have distracted me the entire time. Then it's off to Albafika for recording, and, once that's done, it'll be released! Hooray.

Oh dear, I had forgotten about that...
Well, I put off working on it because I was slightly over my head, I have many things to learn about modelling and I wanted to do it justice. I'll probably pick it up again, I work in circles.
Anywho, I've been working on implementing something that the Brawl developers deemed unnecessary to put into the original game. Now, it isn't 100% done yet, but...

Foiled again.
... But yeah, more Shadowz:
A small detail, but one that, as far as I know, was omitted by the developers for some reason. Hm.
Also, I know I said that the stage was pretty much finished, but I lied through my teeth! =D
There are just so many things to optimize. Currently, I'm trying to tame the camera, as it gets a bit too close on the sides. SCN0 is extremely unintuitive at the moment, but I think I've got it.
Then it's more STPM editing.
THEN it's done.
And I've decided that Ridley's flapping animation is fine as it is, so I will not be editing it. Oh well.

Here's a shot of the stage in fixed camera:
Had to delete some pieces of the stage so they wouldn't obstruct the view when you go off the stage to the right.
I think after a few more tweaks, it'll be 100% done. For real this time. Maybe. Probably.
