That's really weird... Every model I've tried importing either imported fine, didn't import the mesh, or just plain didn't import. Parsing daes seems kinda tedious.

Did you ever imported a model rigged to a Brawl Skeleton before then? Because I don't know what kind of models you import.
DAE is the extension for Collada models, which is a type of model with bones.

Well my only resource for models so far is importing PMDs into 3ds Max 8 or 10 and then exporting them with the correct settings. I haven't rigged anything myself yet. yeah, it seems like a very hard, and tedious process to figure out...

DAEs are basically just xml. Try opening one up in a text editor.

@BJ96 Do you mean 3DSMAX 10 or 2010? And could you PM me such a PMD so that I can take a look at it?
@DSX8 It supports bones, but it doesn't have to contain them.

Sorry, I meant 2010 XD Sure, I'll pm you a .max file of a PMD model for 3ds 2010. Gimme a sec. The only thing is that it doesn't have any textures for the body, it uses colors. I need to replace the colors with textures of that color, if you get what I mean. Flandre didn't come default, so she already had textures.

*Stares back with blank look* So, two updates. Talking with ds22, we came to the conclusion that the dae importer doesn't work with 64-bit computers. I'm not sure how I'll fix that problem, since the code is fine. (We don't know for sure, though) Second, I fixed a bug that caused MDL0s to always be dirty (meaning it ALWAYS had to be rebuilt, even if you didn't change ANYTHING) Now you can export and save models fine, unless you do something you normally couldn't in v0.63d XD my bad. You still can't save or export imported models (correctly, at least). Should I update the demo (for the last time!)?

Does that mean you'll never work on it again?

Who is this man Does that mean you'll never work on it again? The next update is called "Modset 1" not "Modset Demo" I said I wouldn't stop working on Brawlbox until the model rebuilder was done, and I'll probably continue development after that's done anyways since I know the code so well now.

So if it worked for 64-Bit he would be able to play Naruto over Ike in-game like normal?
