Well, considering one of the guys in this thread helped me out...I think I'll leave this little progress pic of my own project. And formally ask if anyone in the luffy team would like to help me out, at least with animation... On topic: That is one kickass looking luffy model  And yeah, the hands and feet are out of proportion in the anime, but I think in brawl they should be normal sized. As for sizing the model to be a certain size, that's why I made Krystal about Marth's size (in scale) and used a different boneset. The animation porter works wonders, but as you can see it doesn't animate bones that the character doesn't have... |

I got it around on the net, the site where I got it had the author listed as unknown. I believe it was a starcraft modding comunity of some sort.

BUT NO MORE! This project has gone though it's highs, it's lows, it's complete erases, it's accidental corruptions, it's forgotten, its... well ya get the idea. Click the spoiler for epic awesomeness ^_~Now that I have a model worth importing and fitting of my needs, I can make Luffy! He'll feature both hands fully rigged, an animated hat, Possible multiple faces >.> (Someone needs to get me his Battle Stadium DON texture rips) Attack models (Gatling gun, Firewors, etc.) and more bones
Well now that I have his model I have MOTIVATION! I'm taking a brake from other projects and model imports to blast though and work on luffy as fast as I can, but while making him best as I can. The moveset you ask? I combination of the current one and my own. I'm also no longer limited like I used to be. Luffy has more bone's in his arms for stretching animations, a bone for his hat, Hell I could even make balloon now, something that was made impossible before due to the limited resources we had. Come the 15th I'm going to start working, and the 29th I'll show you all everything I've done, as proof that you won't be waiting much longer ^_~
Now, ASK AWAY! Questions, suggestions, comments, rants, ideas, up-building criticism, whatever!

Awesome and a mini plus is the two one piece models are from the same time period in the show.is balloon going to deflect projectiles or allow him to slow down his decent if he is falling to possibly avoid an attack or both? And I hope u can use the up I suggested

I can probaly help you. I love Luffy. I can make the texture Brawl styled, the recolors : - Defaut - Thriller Back outfil (Orange) - Enies Lobby (Red, Black short) - Shabaody (Blue) - Cyan (Impel Down) - Black (
) - 2 years later And for the moveset i propose this : Oh and Prevy, you remember the idea i've ask you for the FS? Gear Second.  Oh and, on the model you should give more work on the hair IMO. |
