    I can probaly help you. I love Luffy.
    I can make the texture Brawl styled, the recolors :

    - Defaut
    - Thriller Back outfil (Orange)
    - Enies Lobby (Red, Black short)
    - Shabaody (Blue)
    - Cyan (Impel Down)
    - Black (from the Opening 4(1:39))
    - 2 years later


    And for the moveset i propose this :


    Wait1


    Walk fast


    Run


    Side B


    A Air.


    Air Down


    Run Attack


    Smash Left/Right


    Smash Down


    FINAL SMASH : GEAR SECOND


    Transformation


    Wait


    AAA Attack (more biggest and long)
    Luffy become small at the end of the animation (during 4 secondes)


    Smash Left


    Smash Up

    Oh and Prevy, you remember the idea i've ask you for the FS? Gear Second.



    Oh and, on the model you should give more work on the hair IMO.

    I saw that in your thread and was actually using it for animation reference. Remember that the gear second is to be activated by taunt and not take the place of the final smash

    if 2nd. gear is FS
    where is 3. gear then?

    He has two final smash's so don't worry ^_~

    marth has a model changer so you can probably activate the gear second texture by psa

    All right I'll be postponing the finishing of the model guys, not because I'm stopping work on it, but because I have to figure it out. The reason is because of Luffys strange structure. To not only get him to work right normally, but be able to stretch, both without problem is as I'm sure, impossible with the current workings. I'm going to have to go over this with careful planing and figure out a way to make everything work flawlessly, so It's going to take more time >.> but as it is now, I can either make it stretch perfect and it'll mess up normally, or move perfectly normal, and mess up when stretching. Though I think I may know a system that'll work. Just believe in my guys, and I'll have a preview showing and explaining it all when I finish it

    No, kid buu's and luffys stretching are two entirely different things. Look closely at kid buu when he does, it's a simple and straight stretch, now look at Luffy, most of his stretching curves. The problem is making luffy curve, all the while making him work properly when not doing so. But don't worry, I'm about to test a very basic version of the system I hope will work, and hopefully will get good results. Though it'll make animation a bit crazy to work with, luckily the guy making the system is the one animating Grin

    Things like whip, stamp, mostly leg based attacks. He has a few arm one's two, mostly at stronger variations of his regular attacks but, you know. It's also to make animations smoother and better bring out the fact that he is, indeed, rubber

    EDIT: The good news is the basic test worked, but with a few minor bumbs here and there. I'm going to fix them and try again, then move onto an advanced test

    thats great im glad it worked. i assume there wont be too many animations that require him to curve. does gum gum stamp curve i thought he just streches his leg at  oblique/diagonal directions?

    Look closely at the way he clamps his legs, you'll see they have a slight curve to them right before he shoots the down. Actually I'm thinking of spear lol

    Well the good thing is my idea worked, and as greatly as I had hoped

    Advanced test results

    (The following model is still in development and does not represent the finished product. Accordingly the rig is a simple test rig, and does not represent the quality of the final result)
    "Normal Motion Control"
    This is what Luffy would use for things like regular walking and movement. It's simple and easy to use

    "Curve Motion Control"
    This is what Luffy would use when stretching. It does have it's extreme angel limits, but for what we need to use it for it should be perfect. It does have it annoyances when trying to work with in some ways, but overall makes a Killer result ^_~

    Now I'm not entirely sure, but you may have noticed that there's a difference between the arms that "Stretch" and the ones for normal moment. That's because of this

    Four arms, four legs, in pairs of two, each with different bone sets. The normal arms also have a lower vertical count, so as to take up less file space and keep everything within the limit.

    If your wondering about the two hats, thet'll be explained another day. For now this is everything as up to date. Next I'll show you some previews of the "new gen" Luffy model animations and how they work differently than before. So look forward to it ^_~
