If by "default sword", you mean the sword he used in the beginning of the game before receiving the Monado, then no, he doesn't have it. I only gave him the various forms of the Monado along with the file for Shulk.

how detailed is the model, is it a high-poly of him? in some games they use a flatter, less detailed model in-battle and then higher detailed ones in cutscenes. (i envy you Beyond, i searched everywhere for a model of it   x__x   at least i know its in gooood hands)

Here's the Monado. What I did was extract all the files from Xenoblade and uploaded all of them for Cal to find. Cal then gave it to me to see if it was the Monado, and it was, so he then sent it to Beyond.

Yeah, Shulk's main weapon throughout most of the game really is the Monado, the big red one. The one that's already about as big as a person, can become a laser blade when activated, which is about twice as big as the sword, and in turn gets even bigger for some attacks.

If I'm not mistaken, the model I gave Beyond is from the ending cutscene, so it should be in a rather good quality.
Not that it really matter though, Xenoblade uses the same models for both cutscenes and gameplay most of the time.

And yes, Xenoblade was originally going to be called "Monado: The Beginning of the World".

yea thats the one i saw that i liked

the game sounds like its gonna be awesome.. using that sword most of the game. usualy one finds a kool lookin sword but is actualy weak compared to latter swords and then battles are real-time too. i wish shulk had more votes than geno. both are awesome but yeaaa..

I voted for Shulk. Xenoblade chronicles has been the best RPG that I've played in the last year or so.

i wanted to play the game for awhile but dont know jack-o-lantern about japanese, i wanna know what is happenin in the story too. ill wait for it. hopefully the game gets really hard on harder difficulties. i dont like to play easy games
