Based off his Chidori in the traditional ultimate ninja series(surprise!), Sasuke thrusts his arm down, charging electricity in hand. Like CoN Naruto, even when fully charged he can still hold it. The attack itself stuns.

I'll update this post with feeback. :)

Alright, here it is.
First of all, i'd like to say that the animations are fantastic. They're quite smooth, especially the side tilt, that's my personal favorite. But the walk slow animation's kinda awkward, his right foot takes a larger stride than the left.Now on to the moveset.
AAA Combo: Looks great, but maybe decrease the damage a bit, 22 is a tad much.
Side tilt: Nothing wrong here.
Side Smash: Lacking in range, but the damage makes up for it.
Up Tilt: Just fine.
Up Smash: Maybe decrease the damage a tad.
Neutral B: CHIDORIIIII! Anyway, Loving it, great animation.
Side B: Good, but you might wanna consider giving it a bit more range.
Aerials are fine.
Once again, I really love the animations, keep up the good work.
Overall, it's really good for a beta. keep it up.

Nice job on the Beta, the animations for his specials look really nice and smooth especially his Chidori (Favorite Animation). His AAA combo feels a bit to powerful and his Chidori's range feels to short (If that makes sense) and perhaps make his side B go in a different direction/do something different depending on button input (Again sorry if that makes no sense).

There is also a glitch with his blade when he is standing/running it becomes invisible (His hand still is holding it but the blade is not visible) also (im not sure if this was intended but it does work nicely) when he dodges and disappears if he gets hit as he becomes visible he disappears again for a little while. Also when he uses his side Smash his blade looks like it shrinks.

EDIT: Actually he disappears completely (Not 100% sure on how i did it), when he's coming out of his dodge and gets hit as long as you don't try and dodge again he stays invisible. His Side B also makes him fly off the stage if he uses near the edge sometimes (He goes farther than CON Naruto does with his Rasengan).

I have a suggestion, could you make the range of Sasuke's side-smash a bit farther?

As for the Chidori, is it possible to make a charge longer in PSA?
If there is, make the charge longer, and at full charge he could dash a long distance using Chidori.

Yes, that animation was actually supposed to be fixed XD Oh well, it aint THAT bad. Sorry...

One day when we can color GFXs are you going to make Amaterasu?

I have no idea if this would be possible but couldn't that be made by combining different attacks such as Aura Ball + either Ness PK Fire/Lucas PK fire/Samus Fair. Aura Ball is sort of close to Amaterasu's colour (Not really but it's the closest i could think of in Brawl) and it already does leave that flaming aura effect on any character it hits (Is it possible to make that last longer than it does and cause damage). So if you could change it from a ball shape to something like any of those 3 flame attacks or use it to replace them couldn't that be used as Amaterasu. Again im not sure how possible that is since i don't really know that much about SFX/GFX hacking.

I don't know if you are planning to do this at all,
but how about if you remove the sword from all animations where he doesn't use it?
Although, I think that can be time consuming. :P

Ok, so after playing a few battles with Sasuke I'll give some feedback on him:

SDo0m's Needlessly Long Feedback GO!

AAA combo - Very nice.  I like the animation especially for the first 3 hits.  Very smooth but like Fliptocat said, I think at the moment it does too much damage.  I think for 5 hits it should do more along the lines of 14 or 15%

F Tilt - I like this move alot.  It's simple, nicely animated and the knockback, range and power are all perfect.

U Tilt - I think the animation should be changed here.  It looks a tad awkard at the moment, especially since the end of the AAA combo uses the same animation.  Possibly an uppercut or something?  I dunno.

D Tilt - I actually like how this is just like Marth's D Tilt.  I think it suits him well personally.

Dash Attack - I think this is one move that should be changed.  Marth's Dash Attack was one of his worst moves and since Sasuke at the moment is lacking a good approach move.  Not too sure what it should be though.

F Smash - Like the others have said, this really needs a bit more range.  Although one other thing that I noticed is that the length of time that it charges for is incorrect.  The charging animation should last always for 61 frames but this move has less.

U Smash - I like this out of all the smashes.  Nice knockback and probably his most effective killing move.  Damage could be a tad lower methinks though (17% minimum)

D Smash - Same as Marth's but I think it could be a tad more interesting.  It works though, but I just think for a later release something else would be more awesome :)

N Air - This move is a bit weird to be honest.  It only hits at the top 1/3 of his body (i.e. his arms), it basically functions like an U Air but worse.  I think this could possibly work as a variation of Chidori Nagashi where he is surrounded by electricity

F Air - Same as Marth's but like the D Tilt I think this works nicely.

U Air - Animation swap with Falco's and this works great.  This is probably my favourite of the aerials

B Air - Animation swap with Ike's and again this works quite nicely.

D Air - I'm not too sure about this one.  Part of me says that this should be changed, whilst the other thinks it's an awesome spike and should be kept the same (indecisiveness ftw).

Neutral B - Ah the good ol' Chidori, however there are a couple of problems methinks.  One is that the hitbox timing is weird.  Rarely can I hit the attack even if it kinda should hit.  Second is that the priority is really pathetic.  This is due for two reasons.  One the hitbox simply has the priority bit (Bit 5 in the flags, I'll explain more of that later) turned off and the other is because of the attack's low damage.  8% for an attack that is one of Sasuke's most powerful and signature moves is a tad strange.  I think this should either be structued like .Fade's Rasengan for Naruto (which does high damage and knockback but is hard to land) or it should work as a good approach move with high priority and speed.

Side B - This is only the Fireball Jutsu on the ground at the moment (in the air, it's still Marth's old Side B and only the first hit).  But this is definitely a nice move for catching your opponent and getting a surprise kill.  The only minor graphical niggle I have with it is when you use the move right on the edge of the stage.  Since Sasuke moves back, he kinda falls down a bit then goes back up.

Up B - Unchanged.  I'd like to see what you do with this.

Down B - I was never actually able to properly land this (cuz I suck lol) so I'm not sure as to what it should be at the moment or how it works.  All I saw was an animation change at the moment.

Final Smash - This is clearly a work in progress.  The animation looks pretty dang cool though ;)

So overall, I like Sasuke.  Whilst it definitely needs work in some areas (well of course that's expected from a beta), it's definitely getting there.  I wish you the best of luck with later parts of the project ;)

U Air - Animation swap with Falco's and this works great.  This is probably my favourite of the aerials

B Air - Animation swap with Ike's and again this works quite nicely.

D Air - I'm not too sure about this one.  Part of me says that this should be changed, whilst the other thinks it's an awesome spike and should be kept the same (indecisiveness ftw).

Neutral B - Ah the good ol' Chidori, however there are a couple of problems methinks.  One is that the hitbox timing is weird.  Rarely can I hit the attack even if it kinda should hit.  Second is that the priority is really pathetic.  This is due for two reasons.  One the hitbox simply has the priority bit (Bit 5 in the flags, I'll explain more of that later) turned off and the other is because of the attack's low damage.  8% for an attack that is one of Sasuke's most powerful and signature moves is a tad strange.  I think this should either be structued like .Fade's Rasengan for Naruto (which does high damage and knockback but is hard to land) or it should work as a good approach move with high priority and speed.

Side B - This is only the Fireball Jutsu on the ground at the moment (in the air, it's still Marth's old Side B and only the first hit).  But this is definitely a nice move for catching your opponent and getting a surprise kill.  The only minor graphical niggle I have with it is when you use the move right on the edge of the stage.  Since Sasuke moves back, he kinda falls down a bit then goes back up.

Up B - Unchanged.  I'd like to see what you do with this.

Down B - I was never actually able to properly land this (cuz I suck lol) so I'm not sure as to what it should be at the moment or how it works.  All I saw was an animation change at the moment.

Final Smash - This is clearly a work in progress.  The animation looks pretty dang cool though ;)

So overall, I like Sasuke.  Whilst it definitely needs work in some areas (well of course that's expected from a beta), it's definitely getting there.  I wish you the best of luck with later parts of the project ;)

U-tilt-I was think the animation should be refined for the beta, but we were tired of delaying-Dont worry, it CERTAINLY NOT the final animation.

Dash Attack, D Smash-These were left here because NO animation had even been started of them XD Dont worry, ALL of his moves will eventually be changed

F-Smash-Youve seen my previous answers about this, no? XD

U-Smash-Yeah, the damage could be a lil lower

N-Air-He still had a custum nair? Damn...sorries XD

U-Air,B-Air-Ya think? Hmm....actually, those sounds right. Thanks! :)

D-Air-OMG, I have the same feeling about it XD

Neutral B- Ahh, chidori. Almost EVERYTHING about this needs to be fixed, so...yeah

Side-B- I actually realized this, and methinks Sasuke should have moar fire. His mangekyo mode should and probobly would. Agaion, have I had NO idea about that glitch.

Up-B-Ahh...i was hoping youd have ideas. I to this day still havnt thought of anything...:srs:

Down-B-Actually, this one needs a gfx fix and its finished. At least the ground is....just so you know. lol

Final Smash-Thanks, i need to get in contact with BigBadBooya and ask him some stuff about it.

Im happy to see you like how Sasuke is coming along, I hope you can give more feedback in the future ;)

Just found out about this, can't wait to try to beta! Hopefully I can get it running tomorrow.

Edit:
Tried it out, and my feedback wont be as extensive, but I will give some highlights.

-Needs general nerfing. Most moves do much more damage than they should. Also animations could be smoothed for alot of things.

-I'm not as big a fan of the AAA as others. Having it sent someone up seems unnatural to me.

-Chidori could be modified to look more electric-y. Also in air it is useless. I think he should be able to charge a little bit longer, and travel further, the max distance being about the distance Falco moves with his illusion. The trade off would be having it a bit weaker. I'm picturing something like Ike's side B, but with a bit less distance, longer charge, and at max charge a little stronger. I like how at max charge you can't hold it, it just goes. I think that aspect should be kept to avoid cheapness and stalling.

-Fireball Jutsu is decent, but it needs something. The fire should be bigger, and the move should have a bit less knockback. In the air it should go down at a 45 degree angle.

-Up B ideas:
1) Climbs up in a mild zig-zag with the Chidori very quickly. Goes a little higher than Marth's up-B. The zig zag would only fluctuate mildly, and does so 3 complete times. Hits opponent 3 times, each doing 2 damage. First does 3.

(I got the idea from one of the games)

2)If just for recovery just rapidly climbs straight up in the air, a little lower than the height of Lucario's extreme speed. If connects with an opponent Sasuke hits them, drags them up with him, then smashes them down with a meteor smash. First hit 2 damage, second hit 4 damage, 6 total. Similar to lions barrage, but really only the end.



Just some ideas. It really feels like you are Sasuke so far, so I am really looking forward to the final version. Kudos to you.

for the fireball jutsu, I was thinking about that scene in early naruto when he first learns it. Do you think that you could give it range increasing with charge up? and how about a pheonix flower justsu going 30, 45 and 60 degrees downward as an air attack? doesn't have to be super complex animation wise just three oblong and smaller versions of the ground one

i am a GIGANTIC NOOB when it comes to psa'ing but i can give you guys some moveset inspiration, im a total narutard, theres almost nothing i dnt know about my fav character sasuke :)

you guys think you can make the fire ball jutsu bigger and travel on its own ?
like keep the animation but somehow resize marios fire ball and port that over to marth and make it shoot out ?
and like .Fades Naruto psa could you make the up smash like that psas side b ? only a Lightning lions barrage ? (like ultimate ninja storm 2 sasukes grab) it could be when you press up b he does the kick sendin the character upwards while sasuke teleports above them and if you press A during the move you will do the kicks (or some sword attack) which could also lead to another combo like a chidori downwards
the final smash animation looks great, maybe bigbadbooya could take his gokario final smash and use that as the kirin lightning dragon part of the attack but with your animation
The down b should be chidori nagashi/chidori stream but not to much range for balance reasons
the chidori should be able to travel greater distance and the effect should come in only when he makes contact with his opponent
Give him a good mix of sword and taijutsu based attacks for his AAA,
Lighting Kunai ? (dnt know if its possible) but like .fades PSA hold A for a kunai throw but only lightning around it
his dash attack could be while running and pressing A he teleports behind the opponent with a slash effect behind him hitting his enemy
and i also think while running and if you press B you could be able to chidori instantly instead of a charge but only its weaker
Sryy if all of this sounds kinda impossible, like i said im a noob when it comes to psa so i wouldnt know the difficulties of all of this...
I just want an epic sasuke psa, i have the CSP CSS's BP's Texture's and everything, all im missing is the kick ass PSA :(

you guys think you can make the fire ball jutsu bigger and travel on its own ?
like keep the animation but somehow resize marios fire ball and port that over to marth and make it shoot out ?
and like .Fades Naruto psa could you make the up smash like that psas side b ? only a Lightning lions barrage ? (like ultimate ninja storm 2 sasukes grab) it could be when you press up b he does the kick sendin the character upwards while sasuke teleports above them and if you press A during the move you will do the kicks (or some sword attack) which could also lead to another combo like a chidori downwards
the final smash animation looks great, maybe bigbadbooya could take his gokario final smash and use that as the kirin lightning dragon part of the attack but with your animation
The down b should be chidori nagashi/chidori stream but not to much range for balance reasons
the chidori should be able to travel greater distance and the effect should come in only when he makes contact with his opponent
Give him a good mix of sword and taijutsu based attacks for his AAA,
Lighting Kunai ? (dnt know if its possible) but like .fades PSA hold A for a kunai throw but only lightning around it
his dash attack could be while running and pressing A he teleports behind the opponent with a slash effect behind him hitting his enemy
and i also think while running and if you press B you could be able to chidori instantly instead of a charge but only its weaker
Sryy if all of this sounds kinda impossible, like i said im a noob when it comes to psa so i wouldnt know the difficulties of all of this...
I just want an epic sasuke psa, i have the CSP CSS's BP's Texture's and everything, all im missing is the kick ass PSA :(

You could ask the guy who is doing Sasuke on Smashboards how he did it, im pretty sure he changed the color of fire for Amaterasu (Wasn't a drastic change but it was a deeper shade of red and it had the little aura thing Lucario and Ganondorf has behind his blade when he did it).

As long as there is a working Sasuke to go with CON Naruto i'll be happy. The Chidori for this Sasuke is actually pretty strong once your opponent reaches a 100%, It is pretty much a guaranteed KO on FD in the middle of the stage (If the character has a bad recovery then it's also a KO from the edges across FD). You can nearly shield break someone with it unlike the CON Naruto Rasengan.

Any ideas for his Up-B perhaps he could use a fireball to push himself up (It's a stretch but i can't really think of any moves Sasuke has that can push or pull him and since this isn't using the curse mark he doesn't get his curse mark wings).

Hi, i'm new to posting here. But I've been watching some topics here including this one!

This is looking great! I'm excited for this new update whenever it's released.

I have a few ideas or concepts that you could use. (I've been thinking about them for awhile, but decided now to post it.)

You could have:

Neutral Special: being fireball jutsu (and have fire flower jutsu happen 1/8 of the time) and have him able to angle the fireball shot. but first inhale before the release of the jutsu so you can angle it after. You can base the animation off of Ice Climbers' Blizzard.

Side Special: Snake Sword Charge. He basically performs Ike's Quick Draw but with lightning effects. and different sword positioning. He puts his sword back in it's sheath. (Enters helpless frame if used in the air after sheathing his sword)

Up Special: A Hi-Speed jump or teleportation.

Down Special: Chirodi. (Ground only) you know the concept. Work's like C.Falcon's Raptor Boost but you can't fall off the ledge. He can charge his hand. (Same duration as you have now is good)

Down Smash: Chirodi Nagashi. you know the concept of this too. but have quite an okay delay after the use. The effect can range like nyaru's love. but one hit.

These are just ideas i had.

Nice update, so far it's pretty good however his Chidori in the air is Marth's normal move (If you release it before landing it does Marth's normal b move). Also his Chidori is a Meteor Smash if used on an enemy below you (i think that should stay, it's a nice little surprise for anyone who gets hit :P). His Up B is shorter if he is on the stage (Doesn't go as high as it does when he is in the air) and would it be possible to make his Chidori be able to go in both directions, I'll update this with more observations later on.

EDIT: What is he meant to be doing when he does his Down A because it looks like he is trying to propose to the other characters while jabbing them with his hand :P. His Sword during his side A shrinks at the beginning of the attack then extends near the end (It becomes longer than normal). He can disappear for almost an indefinite amount of time if you keep dodging fast enough.

U-tilt done.

The U-tilt will ONLY be used for combos, because since the way it's now done, but it should work. The U-tilt TransN is higher w/ fixed animations.

Legs are now positioned like in the video. :)

Whole sword is scaled down to zero, making it not visible.

Now to start on the Double slashes. :af:

Try to make recolor csps like 2DaMax, where he takes a image of it (not in-game) and simply recolors it to fit the recolors. Hope you understand.

Typically it would, but Itachi rid Sasuke from the curse mark.
It would most likely be easier to make a Mangekyo Sharingan mode as well, meaning we will near a full Sasuke sooner than we would have substituting CS2 rather than Mangekyo.

Things i fixed were the

D-tilt -  Now hit with the hand other then the sword, and body (sorry about that by the way)
Up-Smash - Hit Angle, and damage
Down-Smash - hit Angle ( To make him less of an Marth rip off)
Side-Smash - Now both slash hit other then just one. Lower damage to 9% each slash for balance

More Horozontal aerial ability
slight more Aerial Stop ability
Lowered weight for more balance

the download link took me to the textures not the fitmotion.pac will the texture replace the down smash? because when i downloaded it last time its didn't have a new down smash.

Oh and one more thing which one do i use BeyondYou texture or the other one? i'm using beyondYou texture right now.

when you hold the A button down not the tilt but hold down for the d smash down
you get three different slashes and effects is this right?
one more thing when i do this he does not hit the oppenent three times unless you mean there is three effects for when he does hit the oppenment... sorry i'm clueless right now lol

I just figured out the pics were outdated i downloaded the hack on the 24th there was a update on the 26th (that what it said on the front page) that was probably why i didn't understand SSJcerious...Since i figured that out should i retake the pics SSJcerious?

Exactly, the movesets aren't the same. Young sasuke cannot use chidori a lot that is why it would be a Final Smash and adult sasuke can use chidori as a N-B.
Also some people perfer adult sasuke over young sasuke and some perfer young sasuke over ablut sasuke.
That's why there should be two movesets one young and one adult.
Also its his choice if he wants to continue working on adult/Shippunden sasuke or not.

Its over marth, he can practically be rel ported over any one.

yeah that way is 100 times better
so he can get SFX pack over the one he is ported to
he dont got GFX bugs if like Marth vs. Marth clone
you can use the Chars´ GFX/articles (if you needing that)

the .rel porting he will get  GFX bugs,SFX packs for it is almost impossible

This, exactly this. I don't want my Sasuke sounding like Marth or Sephiroth. I don't want him going to do a chidori and he has a giant meteor in his hand, though that'd be pretty cool while Sephy summons lightning.

dont rush your work i bet everyone perfers better work than a rushed one. also will this update include  a FS ? since i see the animation for FS is there but its not psaed yet.

Sorry, but no. I'm simply changing alot of Marth's animations to fit the new wait stance, so it seems more fluent. i think pictures are enough  for the meantime video could be for when the revamp is totally done  and show the entire moveset xD and its a nice thing an update for normals,specials and so on sounds a good choice i hope you totally change the up tilt its a wierd move right now.

maybe becuase brawl frame speed the animation runs too fast and makes it look wierd  i would sugest an new up tilt and if you dont want sasuke to teleport back to the ground in the up tilt check the box moves character in psa under animations i think this would help and maybe slowing down the animation with a frame speed modifier would also.Another bug fix is that sasuke needs to get visible since some times he runs around invisible (just add the visibility on edje grabs wait1 and all the falls this should help.

I've decided I will release this small update when I decide it's at least barely presentable to the public. I'll make little weekly updates to let everyone know where I am at.
