id say make death to accompany my dracula vertex that im working on.

At this rate he should win. I'll probably make it eventually even if it doesn't win though. I think I might go a mix of his Circle Of The Moon design and his Portrait of Ruin design. I just played through CotM for the first time and I've started to like it's enemy designs.

The awesome part is that I'm going to try to vertex his minions into Scythes. So his forward B will throw them...and they'll hop across the stage XD.


Here's a few of Aggron's recolor's in-game. I still need to make my 5 to add to the folder.

Still needs:

Shading on texture.
Pupil changed from default DONE
Smaller Feet
Attempt to add red hair to the ends of the eyebrows for accuracy
Darken "tan" spots on texture (in-game you can barely differentiate them from the yellow of his eyebrows)

Should be finished by Tuesday/Wednesday.

That likely happened when you were coloring over DK's chest.  Shouldn't be very noticeable in-game, though. ^_^  And you're not the only one who thought of Shaun of the Dead from that comment! XD

u shouldve worked more on aggron's texture, it isnt rly accurate...
specially the torso part...

and model-wise, u could have used the bracelets for a good purpose.

personnally i dont rly like him...

Nice freaky ape person. Why didn't you make his red fur an edited recolour of DK's? Sounds like it would be easier than shading it all from scratch.

BTW, for your next polls, just a suggestion, but Ludicolo over DDD. I'm really really surprised nobody's ever done it before. Only reason I don't do it, is because I don't really like playing as D3, so I'd never use it, but since you have all those Dedede options in your poll, looks like maybe you do. So yeah.

BTW, if you want, I could give that guy's texture a try.

I wanted him to be semi-cellshaded. I assume he would look extremely disturbing with realistic fur.

I've never used Ludicolo, as I had Ruby, so I never thought of making him. I'll keep that in mind.

Ya I play DDD pretty often. I prefer his normal Brawl attributes, but my brother won't play anything but BB. So I tend to use him less often than I would normally.

There are 3 DDD's in the poll because:
*Someone in the request section wanted Death on someone (DDD was the funniest choice) He could also work on Marth, but it'd just be so hilarious to have him tossing the scythes as his minions. XD.
*Someone pm'd me requesting several Pokemon. Tangrowth on DDD was one of them.
*Aether wanted me to add OldBird to the poll.

The torso is the most accurate part >.>
The hands/arms are the worst.

I don't strive for absolute perfection. I try to make the Pokemon hacks available for fans of that specific Pokemon. If someone makes a better Aggron, then they've won I guess. Until then, fans of Aggron at least have a model to use now. It might not be perfect, but it's pretty good.

I just want my hacks to look nice and look correct during gameplay. Aggron fits this criteria. He looks awesome during gameplay.

If you don't like Aggron, don't use him. I won't even be using him after Aafyre releases his Nidoking, so I don't really care if you like him or not.

Death Test Run:

Hammer has been vertexed into Scythe. It looks like the Scythe weapon from DoS right now. Not sure if I'm going to change it too much. It isn't curved though. There doesn't appear to be enough vertices to make it like that. I'll try it later though.

Beak will need to be flattened, textured as teeth.
Eyes will need to be pulled into head to give depth.


Death has looked different in every single game, I don't want to just use a single design. His head for one has been clothed differently in most every game, so I need to know which one you would rather see.

Should he have a hat (CotM)?? (My personal favorite design)

Hooded with a neck guard (PoR)??

Fully hooded with a headband (SotN)??

first one, or nothing on the head at all. It would look best if you didnt base it on a single one i think.

I personally like the Portrait of Ruin design the most, since Death had an almost round appearance that might go well with DDD's frame..
