The only thing I know for Dedede is that he has to used the older PSA version. But I think he has good filesize nonetheless.
And if the rig doesn't turn out well... Then I'd have to do some sort of model porting thing (Like MarioDK's Geno) to put the character over Dedede.
Whether it's one or the other, I'm fine. Just as long as it works.

Ha ha ha. Ramon, your question is really funny, because it's a real puzzle... So, in fact, in Tales of graces, this thing is not here because it was completely removed, so you didn't made any mistake. In Rebirth though, it is here and as you probably guessed, it is part of his sword sheath. And I can give you a proof of this: watch this short video.
Yeah, japanese courses at university take a lot of time, but right now I don't have anymore courses and exams until June, so I will come back a little more. I still need to work my japanese of course, but less intensively. Edit: Watch this video too, at 0.18 it shows what is behind Veigue when he has his sword in his hand.

wh00t puzzle solved niice.. i havent actually seen Tales of Rebirth in-game. it looks pretty kool how the models are 2D and the background is 3D. his moves are pretty kool too. thats good i didnt accidentally delete the sheath thing. tempest mentioned the sheath at some point so i thought i did. oh the way his bones are now, i know for sure he WONT animate well. his HipN is too low and the Waist is where the HipN would be on a human character. i havent got the chance to test yet. as is, he wont have a chest to bend, we would have to move bones. would you be ohkay with the Tales of Vs model? i could ask tempest for it, i think he wanted to PSA him too though --- Veigue is real close to being done, except tempest didnt want me to release it till the PSA was done. x_x actually, i didnt know he wanted to keep the import in the dark, since i dont think he has started animating or PSAing. i think the wait would be too looOong.. my vote would be to release |

A psa of Veigue? Really interesting. I wonder though what he moveset will be, and if it will reflect Veigue's gameplay that is really unique. (as well as other characters from Tales of rebirth in fact) Anyway, he's good in game, but it still needs improvements for the hand issues. But I'm confident it will be solved!

Oh, I didn't know the exact name. Requiem can be an option of course, like any sword he has, but if I suggest the soulcalibur, it is because it would be fun to have him use it constantly. But if not constantly, at least for his blast caliber. (considering the blast caliber of rebirth is used, because the graces one is different)

Requiem is another sword that Veigue uses. Which is also in Soul Calibur.
But in SCL, their version of Soul Calibur looks like the one in Rebirth with Celsius Calibur.
And both Requiem and Soul Calibur are in Soul Calibur Legends which is a Wii game. So it should work. (Or get graces Requiem)

The PSA for Veigue will be unique I can assure you. I am seriously considering multiple final smashes for him. His first skill, Zehhyoujin, will be his B move. That is all I can confirm for now.
I also aim to make the effect models for him. Hopefully someone is willing to help me code them in....please...
*edit- I will also look into Soul Calibur Legends to see if I can rip the soul edge from there.

what the.. i didnt know those swords he used in Tales of Graces were Nightmare's weapons from Soul Calibur.. thats probably why this gold one looked familiar. i think its siegfried's sword.. dont remember exactly. yeh i remembered you had the emblem at the LST forums so i went over there and searched for a post by you and yuuuup. there it is. it looks good, i thought you got it from a Namco site if its better to import cress over Marth and then port to Dedede, we'll go that way. does Marth have everythin you'd need, PSA-wise? sorry dude.. id help if i knew anything about that. actually, you dont need to rip them. i was gonna get some Soul Calibur models from a friend to rig and he mentioned he gots swords and weapons too. theyre from Soul Calibur 2. i say, put resources to rip Asbel and the group instead |

I saw a video of soulcalibur 2 featuring all weapons. It seems indeed one sword is called requiem and is worn by nightmare but it seems to be really close to the sword Veigue is using in the images already uploaded by Ramon... It is in this video:
This video also features the soulcalibur Veigues uses in tales of rebirth for his Celcius Calibur. It is a weapon used by Xianghua that you can see at 8.32. The only notable difference between the one used by Xianghua and the one used by Veigue is that the one used by Veigue is covered by a flash effect. Royal Blade: If you can, I would be really curious to see the look of the soulcalibur in Soulcalibur Legends. Even the Requiem in fact, because it should probably be better than the one in soulcalibur 2. Tempesttime: I think we have things to discuss... @Ramon: Yeah, I made that emblem. It's hard to tell because I blurred it to make it smoother. The model will be going over Dedede, so I use his effects and stuff for PSA, not marth's. And it's good. I've planned some things ahead already. @Phillia: This is requiem in SCL:  And this is a video of what soul calibur sword looks like: I'm putting it in spoilers for the game's story purposes. They are either extremely similar or exactly the same to Veigue's weapons. |
