If he does make a stage at the top of the tower, and in the ruins of the castle where the final battle takes place, then I'm going to put them together with Ganondorf's Tower Interior over Castle Siege, if it can be done.

The idea with that is expanding the original Ganon's Tower stage and starting from the moment in which ganondorf destroys the windows and the collapse begins. The stage would get some fight are on the ramps on the sides of the castle, a standard version just where the Ganon's Tower battle was, and a collapsing version in which you would keep fighting on the top. Small towers and such would fall in the background, not reaching the fighters.
That's a long time project, I imagined that already while doing Ganon's Tower. With my new knowledge, now I'll be able to make it. Back in those days, doing it would have been a little harder to me, as I was always using squared blocks, or really small vertex edits of them. Now, as you know, I make shapes with them, and everything would fit better. Also, back in those days, the individual blocks had an animation per block, and that didn't allow me to move the whole stage. Now with block tool that's sure possible. And if I got to add one bone to my blocks, it would be even better. But I don't want to mess with them for the moment. My 2D planes have already enough bones for what I plan to do with Ganon's Castle, Ganon's Tower and other stages.
For this, of course, Ganon's Tower will need some modelling revamp, so only a bone is used for the whole stage and UV points are a little more efficient to save space with textures.

Mewtwo, I think you should release just a normal version for when it's ready, and then release a full one with the castle destroying and all that.
Sorry to say but I can't wait much longer to have this on my Brawl. Two months just seems too long, you know.
Also, I believe you mentioned you were gonna do that rainbow that the Sages make for Link to be able to go inside the castle?

The rainbow is already half made indeed xD
Still unanimated, but the shape of the center is made.
About releasing, that's what I was guessing too. I promised my girl that Ganon's Castle would be a fast stage, and right after that I would work in doing the Jinjos. To keep that promise, I guess I can't make the collapsing version yet. Anyway, who knows xD

well, i'm just glad to hear that you and i are sharing the same idea. I'd use this over Castle Siege in a heartbeat. Idea for final stage: since we don't have a Ganondorf Vertex, maybe Ganondorf can break through some rubble in the background.
but yeah, for now, those Jinjo's should be top priority. You'll feel a little more relieved once you fulfill that promise to your girlfriend.

ForOhFor Error is making some automatic program for the Shadow System, so my models automatically fit the collision shapes. I won't go that far, and I've decided making a simple program to edit the vertices of the model. It's really simple. The X and Y axes of 2 points are shown in the program, and can be edited. If you copy the values you have in a collision plane, you have automatically the shadow fitting that shape. It doesn't change the Z axis, unless you hit the reset button. Clicking on the numbers will update the model. The apply changes button applies the 4 values at the same time. Just for those who don't like to move the MShadow models via animations and such. http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/BrawlView.php?Number=22703

Perhaps you ought to make the thumbnails of the images links to full size images? I want to see how Ganon's Castle is coming.

Great Bay? DSX8 just imported his, and looks decent O.o
Maybe in the future, but right now it's not a priority.

actually ive really stopped having custom stages since all my friends are tourney players and dont wanna play on anything crazy...
hell even my own custom stages arent on there anymore..
But most custom stages are as flat as all [censored], the kind tourney players like.

Now now, if we're going to generalize things, let us at least do it right. Here, let me fix that for you:
Most custom stages are flat walkoffs, the kind tourney players dislike.
Mewtwo, I love how you manage to create stages from scratch with such perfection that they completely outshine the imports.

LOL at this [censored]. Now, I have let's say 10 flat stages, and I have maybe 30 other stages, maybe more. I don't mind another flat stage, but I don't hate them. I care about the visual a lot, and I mean more than you could imagine. Take Dark Link's Room for example, beautiful [censored]ing stage all the way. Perfect replica, made even more beautiful to fit Brawl. Even a night version was made, and yes I have both. Point of this is, it's a flat stage, a walk off, yet I still downloaded as it was no problem for me. Also, this quote right here sums up a lot of what we have told you, Mewtwo: Mewtwo, I love how you manage to create stages from scratch with such perfection that they completely outshine the imports.

i tend to gravitate towards ones that i would think are tourney legal, but sometimes its fun to make something that can try to kill you :3
