Of course I know how hard that would be. I said that is what I was hoping for in brawl when I first heard the announcement of final smashes but instead they crushed my dreams by replacing YL with TL and giving him the exact same FS. I never said that anyone had to do it though. Just wanted to share that. You have to admit that it would be cool though.

Well, being a psa hacker, I know that doing that is near impossible for link. I don't believe that there are any methods of adding new models that allow full animations, so the idea of having him transform into the 3 masks would only be possible over pokemon trainer. However, to do the final smash as feirce deity, you could make it work over TL if he has a seperate model by replacing said model with feirce deity's and making the animations of the model match what you would want the final smash to be. That way, you could have him turn into deity, do some big attack and turn back. That would be possible. Though it might be important to say that that would require a significant amount of time and someone who is alot more skilled than me XD

So basically....
The transformations are impossible.
Having him transform into Fierce Deity for his final smash is probably impossible and if not would take a lot of time and somebody with intense skillz to make.
Having him transform into Fierce Deity and do one awesome attack. Is possible but still would take a lot of time and someone with mad skill to do.

Well, basically the only way possible would be to have him transform and do an awesome attack, because when you add extra models they are limited in their number of animations. If you seriously want this done, you might want to consult mr weegee because he is the best at model imports and such. I personally have never done stuff like that. I like to stick to moveset hacks. Model hacks are very frustrating. However, if you'd like something easier, you could have him use the giants mask. Just a thought.

Seriously? Yeah IT WOULD BE POSSIBLE but you'd need to make the YL model during the FS THEN make a FD model appear as an object.. and have a cool attack going on.. that way it would look like the char transformed.. but you wouldn't be able to make it move manually if you wanted it to move, you'd have to do it automatically through animations.
At least that's the way I'm doing Super Silver...

Instead of making the down B transform him into a different character, we could just replace one of his sword glow files with the model of a mask. So let's say you want YL to put on the Goron mask. So via vertex hacking, we get Goron's SSBB trophy model, and vertex everything out except the face. Relatively easy. Then we get THAT vertexed model, and we put it over one of YL's sword glow effects. Now that sword glow should have an animation, so we increase the number of frames that the animation has in Brawlbox to 500-100. Now we go into PSA, and look into Link's .pac file. So we want his Down B to change masks. First, we need to find the code that calls upon Link's sword glow, which is what we had previously replaced with the Goron model. Now we find that, cand copy it. Next, We simply go over to YL's Down B subaction in PSA, and paste the Sword Glow code at the beginning of the subaction. After doing so, we edit the code so that the sword glow would attach to his face. Ta daaaa And then we should maybe ask the creator of the Soren moveset how he got Marth's moveset to change every time you taunted. @ ShadowSnake: Yes, he will. I'm sure that he explained how a couple pages back.
