    Anyways, transforming Link would be possible, somewhat. Instead of making the down B transform him into a different character, we could just replace one of his sword glow files with the model of a mask. So let's say you want YL to put on the Goron mask. So via vertex hacking, we get Goron's SSBB trophy model, and vertex everything out except the face. Relatively easy. Then we get THAT vertexed model, and we put it over one of YL's sword glow effects. Now that sword glow should have an animation, so we increase the number of frames that the animation has in Brawlbox to 500-100. Now we go into PSA, and look into Link's .pac file.

    So we want his Down B to change masks. First, we need to find the code that calls upon Link's sword glow, which is what we had previously replaced with the Goron model. Now we find that, cand copy it. Next, We simply go over to YL's Down B subaction in PSA, and paste the Sword Glow code at the beginning of the subaction. After doing so, we edit the code so that the sword glow would attach to his face. Ta daaaa

    And then we should maybe ask the creator of the Soren moveset how he got Marth's moveset to change every time you taunted.

    You know, that is a good idea, but there is one big flaw. Custom graphics only allow one animation, so unless you want to have the character stay completely still during the battle, the swap wont work. Also, if that weren't enough, custom graphics rely on frames, so it would be scetchy to try and switch back. Therefore, it is impossible to use that method to make the moveset. As I stated before, the only way to do it is to put it over pokemon trainer. Sorry, that's just how it is.

    Perhaps you misunderstood what I meant. You would only NEED one animation. We're not talking about replacing YL with an ENTIRE model, we're talking about cutting part of a model off and then adding that model to YL. I have no clue what you talking about in your reply, because it sure doesn't relate to what I stated. We're not model SWAPPING, we're adding a model to YL. I've done it before, trust me. If you do not believe me by any chance, you can look at my Starlow hack (Located in my Brawlvault) and see that I have in fact tried and done this before with successful results.

    Oh, you were saying to add the masks on with the sword glow, not actually change the model. That makes more sense. Also, to make the moveset change with the taunts, what you do is set a RA bit variable at every taunt. Then, when you make the moves, you set the collisions in an If variable according to which taunt has been used. Also, Make sure to clear the other if variables when you set one in a taunt. If you want to have the moves have different animations, what you do is in the if variable you tell it to go to a move with the animation NONE. Then, you name the animation the same as the animation you want him to proform and put your graphics and collisions in there. Make sure that in that move you say that if the animation ends, switch back to animation 0 if on ground and E if in air. That is how to do it.

    i love the idea of putting it over Pokemon Trainer, for one, it would allow me to keep both zero/link (i have Zero over link, and i put some of link's things over Toon link.)

    i mean for one, it would would be a good toonlink, you have Goron link, would go over Bulbasaur, as Zora Link would go over Squirtle. and just put regular link over Charizard, so you can give him Fire arrows.

    see what i did there?


    Bulbasaur/earth=Goron.
    Squirtle/water=Zora
    Charizard/Fire=Regular Link/Fire Arrows.

    its a great idea, and should be attempted.

    moveset is rather easy to come up with though.

    Actually, I think it'd be better to go like this.
    squirtle=deku shrub
    ivyasuar=goron
    Charizard=Zoren
    1. This is not over link so there is no reason for link
    2. The models are closer to the people they are being transformed into
    I would gladly make this moveset if someone were to do the verticies.
