With DSX8's quitting, he put his stuff out to the public.

I'm not exactly 'quitting' but I don't see why I shouldn't throw some animations out there for anyone who may or may not wanna use them for w/e.

So... would anyone like for me to release the dl links to the unfinished animations/psas that I have laying around?

Sure..that sounds great!...I'd sure like to pick up on some of your unfinished stuff it that's fine. Also are you able to contact Frostymm about his Rock Lee move set that was never released as a v1?

 The OP has been locked and well I PM'd him too, but no reply, I wanted to take the PSA and finish it, of course with Credit to You for some animations I might want to use instead I starting from scratch( I have made new animations as well:)), and of course to NarutoMan for his model, and of course others who had any part of it. I just want permission before I go ahead and finish everything and release it you know!..:/..a lot of really good brawl hackers are leaving..I'm just rising.

    Thanks DSX8. That's awesome. I'll get to work on that after work today. That second preview is csp worthy no doubt.

    New move set is both mvc inspired and X-Men: next dimension inspired.

    New throws, New specials, New normals. V3 Wolverine is gonna be the best at what he does for sure.

    Moveset is subject to change:

    AAA:  MVC Light Medium Heavy
    Attack 100: Swiss Cheese

    Side Tilt 1: Right horizontal claw slash
    Side Tilt 2: Into backhand left claw slash
    Side Tilt 3: Into right Uppercut Slash

    Dash Atttack: Drill Claw? Maybe. It may stay what it is.

    Up Tilt:

    Down Tilt:

    Up Smash:

    Down Smash:

    Side Smash: Berserker Slash. Hoping to get a better looking gfx for the move.

    Up Air:

    Down Air: Dive Kick. Maybe?

    F Air: His UMVC3 attack that sends people down. I forget the button combination. It looks like a meteor though.

    B Air:

    Up Special: Drill Claw- Wolverine spins at his opponents and when he hits them he pops up a bit to potentially allow him to combo with something else. If he doesn't hit anything, he'll go into special fall.

    Side Special: Beserker Barrage: Wolverine slashes several times in a single direction
    Side Special Air: Debating on keeping it the same or making it a different move.

    Down Special Ground: Regeneration. Wolverine regenerates 1hp per second while you hold the button. Similar to P:M's Ivysaur.

    Down Special Air: Dive Kick. Maybe. If not, then it'll be Regeneration in the air.

    Neutral Special: ---

    Final Smash: Weapon X. Its already animated. Just needs to be PSA'd to work.

    F Throw: Wolverine picks up the opponet with one hand/claw, then stabs them with his other claw three times, then does a backwards roundhouse kick to send them away.

    Thats what I have so far. The AAA attacks are done, just tweaking a few things. The moveset is subject to changes and alterations.

    Omg. Please tell me this is in preparation to be ported over the current Spider-Man over Squirtle! Looks way too awesome.

     Pokemon trainer MVC needs an update especially because LeonExodio said he found a way to give the Pokemon a down b and replace the switch with a taunt button.

    My post got really long...
    Its not specifically -for- any ports, but I'm sure Leon or Calikingz will port it eventually.

    This moveset is a huge overhaul of the previous Spider-Man's PSA.

    All new smash attacks (which are done)
    Specials are re-animated to look more Spider-Man like... meaning more flare. I'm still brainstorming on how to animate the side special...

    I -WANT- to add in tricks...

    The current two options for Tricks are:

    1: You press/hold a button while falling to do special fall animations.

    or

    2: The side and up specials will automatically place you in a random unique fall which will work like any other fall... meaning its interrupt at any point. Its just there for flare.

    I'm removing his punching up-Special in favor of the non-damaging up-specials. This justifies the distance they cover as well as his side specials not doing damage due to their distance as well.

    Spider-Man will be much more acrobatic and hard to hit.

    Some of his moves will have two parts in that if you hit, he'll kick off you either into the air or onto the ground but both result in him being slightly away from you. For spacing... also to fit his Way of the Spider style of fighting.

    I plan to re-animate his throws using the webs I have on his model, and I have a web ball graphic I wanna use with it later.  Though due to not knowing how to allow him to keep his air momentum while doing web ball in the air, I may only allow him to use it on the ground. Meaning I need to think of another neutral B special for the air.

    New waits, new run/walks (admitadly, I took his run/walks from Snake since people complained about Mario's. Sorry but I didn't feel up to making custom walk/runs for him.) Brainstorming new taunts as well.

    Here is a list of whats done and what isn't done:
    Wait 1: Done
    Wait 2: Brainstorming
    Wait 3: Brainstorming
    Walks: Done
    Run/Dash: Done
    Turn/TurnRun Etc. : Done
    Falls: Keeping the same
    Guards: Keeping the same.
    Squats/Crawls: 50% Done. Giving his Wallcrawling for his crawl doesn't look good sorry to say. Watching him do it from the side is not a great angle.

    Escape Air: Keeping the same
    Escape Back: Done. A spider-man like springboard backflip
    Escape Forward: Done (See preview gif)
    Escape Down: Done/Keeping the same. I tweaked it so he didn't hop so far off screen.

    Attack 11: Done
    Attack 12: Done
    Attack 13: Done

    AttackDash: Brainstorming/Need ideas

    Side Tilt: Done. Two parts. He does a spinning double fisted uppercut, if he connects and you press the button at the right time, he'll kick off you backwards, onto the ground and pop back up to his feet.

    Down Tilt: Incomplete. Spider-Man will web in front of him and pull himself forward, with a chance of tripping those he hits. He'll slide a pretty decent length forward.

    Up Tilt: Brainstorming

    UpSmash: Done. It is now his previous Up-Throw (the flip kick)

    Side Smash: Done. Two parts. He webs the ground and stretches back, jumps and lets the webs sling him forward. If he hits anyone, he'll kick of of them into the air.

    Down Smash: Done. Spider-Man jumps high into the air, webs the ground and pulls himself back down to slam the ground really hard. Very good damage but predictable due to the hitbox coming out late. You'll have to time this one well to use effectively.

    Up Air: Staying the same unless I get a better idea.

    F Air: Staying the same.

    Down Air: Staying the same.

    Back Air: I want to change it but I have no ideas.

    Side-Specials: Staying the same mechanically. But I'm adding -down- as a possible direction when using it in the air. I'm going to animate these to look more interesting. None of the new animations are complete.

    Up Special: Ground is done. Air version will work exactly the same, but will look different.

    Down Special: Keeping them both the same. (Spidey-Sense on the ground, and web swing in the air.) So they are complete.

    Neutral Special: The original Web ball animations are still usable, but I'd like to use something different for the air special. Unless I see that most people don't mind the spamming of web ball in the air to air-stall.

    Final Smash: Staying the same unless I can get a better idea.

    D-Throw: Spidey kicks off his target, webs them, zips to them, kicks them away, webs them again, and zips them back to jump off their head.

    B-Throw: Spidey webs his target, swings him around and then throws them.

    F-Throw: Spidey jumps over his opponent after webbing them, then slams them to the ground with an overhead slam with his web, they bounce up, and he kicks them away.

    U-Throw: Spidey does a backflip kick to send his target up, webs them back down, then does a vertical dropkick up... to send them flying again.

    None of the throws have been animated yet.

    Up-Taunt: Spidey webs up high,  and hangs upside down for a while.
    Side Taunt: Debating on changing it, but I NEED to change it from the MvC taunt due to gfx glitches with Zelda. I want this as seemless as possible.
    Down Taunt: Keeping that shrug.


    Spider-Man is gonna be light and agile. He'll have some good kill moves but they will either leave him pretty open and punishable if he misses. Very good recovery offset by low power for most of his normals. He's the kind to get in and hit you and get out while keeping the momentum going and keeping you off balance.


    The ONLY really bad thing about this new PSA is that you'll have to use the model provided.

    HOWEVER! If you're like me, and have the Spider-Man texture pack from a while back, all you have to do is swap out the textures, and make a new pac/pcs. The only change to this model was the inclusion of two web strings and a web ball gfx. No bone edits to the main body so using the textures from the texture pack should work (except for with Noir Spider-Man)

    Spider-Man is my favorite Super-Hero and I don't think his PSAs have done him enough justice.

    Next after him will definitely be Wolverine v3 though. I've got a lot of his animations done as well, but I got the Spider-Man with the web strings, so that took prcedence.

    Man...this is gonna be epic, I also felt that the old Spider-Man Psa was unfinished and incomplete because the air final smash wasn't complete so I went ahead and animated the Maximum Spider for his air final smash and already Psa'd it, it's not the best and I finished it to my liking, but I never released it because I didn't  know if I could, but if I did I would surely credit and all, after all I've been learning a lot from you. If you still need the ideas for the final smash, I'd say keep the ground final, but animate maximum spider for air final, Spider-Man is after all my favorite superhero too.  Awesome Face I guess if I have time I'll try exporting the animation gif and post it on here so you can see how I animated maximum spider and criticize my animating and incase if you need ideas on how it should look like.

    I've excited for this v2 Kage...it really makes me happy, and Even Frostymm had  let me take on finishing Rock Lee moveset because a lot of people lost interest. But he pm'ed me back and he gave me permission hence crediting and all and of course to you too, because you have some animations I had in mind.
