I'm kind of a noob when it comes to rigging models, so if anyone would like to help me or give me tips on his
mouth, cause it really looks bad ATM...
(Some polygons are hidden to focus on the body)

Also I've been meaning to ask, which kind of legs do you think would "fit" more in meatboy's complexion?...
The legs on kirby are actually just feet so that would make meatboy have disjointed lil' cubes as legs... which is cute but looks kinda silly

well... the verticies sticking out of his mouth that arent suppose to be there can just be rigged to a bone thats more in the center-back of his body (idk kirby's bones very well)

So, yeah I'm still having trouble to make myself clear ¡^///^
I was refering only to the highlighted side, since the other side is bad rigged those are the verticies sticking out

I am loving that meatboy model. I kinda like the like the legs on the right side but whatever you pick i'm sure will look good.

well, kind of :P... the main thing is I want to retain the general box shape of meatboy, in other words, strech his body insted of completly deforming it when doing is Nspecial... i think I almost got it

I know meatboy's legs do not bend like that :P, they're mainly 2 little cubes, is just that when doing a DownSmash they get tossed like projectiles XD

I haven't done anything to him since my last post because of the holidays, but it will not die, meatboy would be completed... eventually.
Also, I've been working with something else in the meantime (since im no good at rigging), and tried something simpler, this is something I did with ness, it isn't complete though...

For the Princess Lucaria import, here is what I think.

The main body of the model should be a combination of Peach, Zelda and Lucario's, ideally. The skirt however, I would like to be designed as a hoop skirt.

Looking at Lucario, the only thing that could possible make it any better is having Lucario wear an MK-styled breastplate, but the costume looks awesome enough as it is!

mmm well.... lucario over ike with master sword kind of counts, BUT, I could only do it after Princess Lucaria since is kind of the same thing; And about lucario with Cloud's cloak thing I think it'll be harder depending on how much of the cloak lucario wears... I'll think 'bout it.


thanks, I looked everywhere for an awesome MK Gijinka draw I saw once, but had no luck and without any reference couldn't do it... however, I'll still look for it and will make a breastplate version in the future.

Lol I meant in BrawlBox; 3DS max is fine, just one crash so far while doing MetaCario, that's when I found out about autoback...

I need to clear my mind... cause all these are object imports (if you haven't noticed it before) because I'm a begginer and it's easier that way, but with ZeroCario I think I'll have to import the model all together...which is more time consuming than objects (-__- ¡)

NOTE:
If anyone wants to help me, here's the exact problem:
While importing objects onto a model some bones also get imported. If bones are mislabeled or misplaced, animations get affected; thus why lucario appears in T-pose. I usually delete them the correct way, however, this time when deleting them and saving, the .PAC gets corrupted.
I think it's because one object is not singlebinded *goes to check*...

Ohhh. You were doing Object importing straight into Brawlbox. I have absolutely no idea how that works. I do know that you can export to Dae with rigging intact, so I thought that's how you were doing it. If you need help the Max way, I can stand in, but otherwise, good luck with that.

Yeah. But reducing the vertices count would lower the lag by quite a bit...

Although... That Metal Sonic import... Due to his shine texture, lags on Delfino Plaza... I have no idea why though. Did they do something wrong with the materials?

Oh~ you guys! :D Thanks for the Bump, I thought I might share some kind of update with you since my exams are almost over:
About LucZero, well... let's say sometimes my mind goes beyond my capabilities. To explain myself,  Long ago I saw some weird transparency "issues" in some hacks, like Kain Vertex & Great Bay v1 import, and just dreamed about the possibilities. Then, when experimenting with Zero's textures this came up:
I instantly thought, how awesome would this be if it could actually be done, so I've been trying for the last week to make it happen but had no luck, not even with replicating the same effect on another Zero.pcs

Haven't you figured out my idea yet?... It's simple, to replace Zero's hand with his blaster when he has FinalSmash
(Without making the blaster gigantic ofcourse)(Meaning, the hand will dissapear just like the body on the picture when his hair is covering it up). 

Anyway, LucZero is mostly done, the arms will be a little stiff because of proportions and rigging restrains. If I don't get this done by thursday it will be released that same day... 

Well got to go back to study, see you soon.

The textures I made for zero also glitch on Delfino, whatever they did wrong I did it also XD, I'm going to ask M2000 how to fix it...

It doesn't show but normals are much better now, still missing some.
once normals are finished I'll try to add a shine to the eyes like sonic or lucario, and if everything turns out well I'll remodel a bit the hands and chest

Yea. Mewtwo is a Pokemon that would have skin, not subtle fur.

I disagree due to the Mew sample that was used to clone him, remember what the sample looked like in Pokemon: the First Movie? Did it not look like some kind of hair or "feather" of some sort?.

Thus, Mewtwo would have fur..It's just so fine it can't be normally distinguished by the human eye.

Does a snorlax have fur?... well It is not like it doesn't, It DOES have fur... BUT!! It's like sonic (not impying that sonic has fur), a "Non-moving" "perfect" if you may and that's why the Env effect (similar to sonic) so it looks like fur, but without the fur texture....

The kind of hair I'm talking about is very fine. It's enough to be noticed, but not enough to completely cover his skin from view.

who are you texturing for? for some super-eyed alien?

That's to explain away it's fur-less appearance in the games.

It's hard for me to really explain it in words...Since not many animals I can think of have the kind of fur I am thinking of...

i think ur going for a over-detailed texture, pikachu should have more fur than mewtwo, and look at his brawl appearance...

-That's only because that's Pikachu's iconic appearance, same with Mewtwo. That also has to do with the limitations of his texture due to the way he was mapped UV-wise.

It wouldn't be overly-detailed if the fur texture is subtle enough. I just need to figure out what kind of fur I'm thinking of: I know what it is, but at the same time, I don't know exactly what it is.

try playing around with noise and unfocus (or however it's called), that may achieve the effect ur thinking of

i think for mewtwo it should be even softer, and a bit darker, the pink looks too pink...
also, dont forget it IS a pokemon, making him too detailed will proably ruin the poke feeling...

I'm not sure if I should release Mewtwo... I mean, It feels like a shadow hack, only the normals were fixed and some blind spots in the rigging but not much to say that it's completly revamped... what do you guys think?

...you can get the student version for free, ya know.

That's what I did. Autodesk is nice enough to let students use their software for free (non-commercial purposes only, of course), and since I am a student...
But I'm afraid I don't know how to use it, either...

I have a request: Brush your teeth every day so you don't get cavities. If you don't brush, you have to go to the dentist and whatever they do to fix things up always results in pain.

Unrelatedly, for some reason, the mapping on my Rookie is incorrect on the eye, showing the whole texture opposed to just the eyebit. Does anyone else have that issue? Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions as to how I can edit the texture to make it look less like the default Bowser colour without ruining the style of Rookie?

I figured it out, though it's a bit weird.

Well I ended up going to the dentist anyway, I got 1 wisdom tooth removed and turns out I need to get them all removed... the first one wasn't really painful tho. And yeah, I plan to revamp Rookie a little bit.

I'm preparing some gifts for you, for old times sake ;)

In the meantime, I'm trying to acomplish something.

I think this can be helpful aswell on other things, and at last MG&W has sort-of-but-not-really texture slots (at least 3 ATM) I'm going to look deeper into it.

BTW, before anyone asks,  this is all textures/shaders/materials not any code whatsoever; I don't know how to...
