Speaking of bones, you can add bones like crazy but do we still need to follow the minimum (original) bone limit for each character?

BlackJax is changing the model previewer to work with all of these animation files, so it'll be something easy to work with.

By the way, the Pat0 rebuilder doesn't work in 0.65c, that's worth mentioning.

I saved it in 2011. If you have 2010, I'll have to re-save it as Max 2010.

So will you able to ever edit models in brawlbox? like dragging vertices?
Some things are just best left for Modeling programs.

I can get Kraid and Brinstar Depths, Kraid is just going to be another character to rig.

Icicle Mountain should loop like Mushroomy Kingdom and that one Rumble Falls stage in Brawl, but there might be another model above or below it, I can double check.

Roger that. I'll post back here with download links, and perhaps a request for your Squirtle model (for width reference incase the Z scale is shrunk)

EDIT: Kraid is a moving model, he'll get captured in whatever pose he's in when I capture the model and the skin won't follow. Any pose preference?

EDIT2: Here's Icicle Mountain: I'm not sure if this is the entire stage or not, so I'll let you judge.

All right, all right. I'll force BJ to teach me how to parse files and such  Awesome Face

But for an update, that lazy cut-it-short gene is telling me to do a half-done job with translating bones, or to go with a really weird GUI. Might be best for me to move onto something else, especially something wanted more like those animation editing systems.

Yes, we mean in 3DS Max. Although TECHNICALLY speaking, you could be able to export the eye polygons and reimport them as a new polygon and move them in there. But that doesn't feel as well-done as doing it by hand in a modeling program.

All right, I got my Dolphin emulator playing Melee and ripping models. I doubt the pokemon models will be any higher quality than the ones you already have, but you seem like you could really use Icicle Mountain.

Anyways, I think I'll use blender.


Blender can be a little more edit-friendly, at least if you know how to use it.

Anyways, I need to hurry up and finish this translation coding. All these Calculus lll formulas are out of my league....

I do have a suggestions though: Once the new brawlbox previewer comes out, it will display a graph showing all of the bone keyframes for every bone in a single animation. Your animators should use this to see how to flesh out the finalized details throughout the body, but that's for later.
