I like the format in MvC3, why do they have to change it?
well im not sure that they change the model format or not.. all i kno is that they changed the game engine.. so ya
Aren't the coordinates for the model the same as in 3ds max? I suppose you can use those to make the shadows to fit completely. Anyway, I'm not sure, but I guess shadows are correctly placed, and there's some material problem where imported models don't hide the shadows.
About the srt0, you can try the one in my dark link stage

hmm ok, i'll try ur SRT0 file.. and maybe a different water model. and no, the coordinates for the models arnt the same as in 3DS Max.. i had to reposition the stage. all i do in 3DS max is scale it down cause it was really big.

I think that complaining about the water speed is a little nitpicky, and the messed up shadows may be beyond your control, but you can't be releasing a stage with broken spawn points in 2011 =/ You need to fix that and update the download link ASAP.
Other than that, yes, I'm impressed that we can now rip and import models from Gamecube games. This one (visually) looks just as good as Wind Waker itself always does.
