The next version of the Stage Expansion Pack will have renamed .PAC files and an sc_selmap (in common5) redone from scratch. Maybe it will be easier to edit then. MenSelmapMark's PAT0 isn't cooperating, so I might just nix those (replace them all with 4x4 black squares.)
Cool, any new Stages on it? Btw make every stage with it's own music. It'd be better for the people who replaced Wi-fi room and other stages. xD

> I replaced the Lake Shore (STGCUSTOM12) with The Great Desert, replaced its rel for the FD one, since The Great Desert is based on FD The Lake Shore's .rel was already the FD one, so that's not necessary. > I made the icons smaller (I noticed menselmapreview is supposed to be 176, but yours are 128, I assume you did it to lower the quality/file size, right? I ask 'cause I could be wrong, same with the MenSelmapFrontStname, am I right?) Yep, that's right. > So, for this Stage (STGCUSTOM12) I want to add a Logo (MenSelchrMark) for it, how can I do that? And where else other than Common5.pac should I replace the Preview/Name/Logo/Icon? Only the mu_menumain.pac? Do you want it to have its own MenSelchrMark? If so, you'll need to edit the PAT0 entries in "lambert113": - Add an I4 texture (64x64) and name it MenSelchrMark.33
- Add two PAT0 new entries to labert113 (right click, Ctrl+A)
- Put them between the entry with Key 32 and the entry with Key 40 (you can move them with Ctrl+Up)
- The first entry you add should be named MenSelchrMark.33 and have Key 33
- Export one of the entries named MenSelchrMark.20 and replace the second new entry with it
- Change the key of the one you just replaced to 34 (so the rest of the SSE stages don't use that same icon)
Hopefully you can use this as a base, I haven't tested it: http://www.mediafire.com/?2d526kw6i9njv12EDIT: What was changed in Info.pac and Info_training.pac? (Only the songs?)
Yes, only the songs.[/list] ...Wow, sounds complicated, and me being without SD Card Reader won't be able to modify it 'til it works.. I'll rather wait 'til I get one (Right now I edited a few stages and headed to a friend's house to add 'em to my SD, can't do that to test all these changes to the common5. XD) Thanks a lot for helping and answering all my questions, libertyernie. =)

Dude that is a scary picture Noah.
jeepers.
It has been a while since I lowered picture's quality in favour of a smaller file size. Will png8 with 16 colours work?

Number of colors doesn't matter as much as size (width x height) does.

The number of colors does affect the file size, though. But, this doesn't matter if you use Riivolution. Anyway.... I'll make WWR, Temple:M and Rumble Falls:M have their own music, then. Those are the 3 stages that don't right now. I'm going to add: - Smash Skiff

What if WWR used the Menu's music? Also, another suggestion, but, Temple:M could use Saria's Song.

I think the music is pretty fine right now, but its up to you. Personally, I have yet to actually find a use for vBrawl's rumble falls, so I just put Brawl+'s back over it so as to free a custom slot.

For WWR, Rumble Falls:M, and Temple:M, I'll have them use "Primary Track/Secondary Track" like the other stages (it's really Big Blue's tracklist, but I use Oshtoby's STDSL code to change it for each stage.) I'd like suggestions for what two songs to use for WWR. I'd like to use songs that are already in the game. Rumble Falls:M will use King K. Rool / Ship Deck 2 and The Map Page / Bonus Level. Temple:M will use Great Temple / Temple and one other track, either Great Bay or Saria's Song. (vote in the poll) I'm also going to have Temple (the original Melee version) use Fire Emblem (Melee) instead of Great Temple / Temple.

The third stage is Hyrule 64. It’s now 3000 clicks in the vault, and I’ve made some small fixes to it. Also, I’ve included two special versions of the stage to celebrate the 3000 clicks. Apparently, Mewtwo2000 did a few fixes. Also, libertyernie, are you going to use Mewtwo2000's Peach's Castle?
